A south Texas pastor arrested last month on four counts of indecency with a child now faces two additional felonies under a state law that criminalizes grooming.
The new law lets prosecutors charge a person for manipulating a child toward sexual activity, whether or not abuse follows. Jorge Martinez now faces six felonies in all.
