🏳 Our application to @Builder__DAO: IME Link is a Festival produced as a DAO, hosting a DAO Festival within it. A manifesto by 100+ Agents. A showcase of DAO meant to inspire society and influence mainstream culture. By @IMEChile @CoperativaLocal and @Clarity_DAO on @Cardano 🏳 This June 21st and 22nd, within the IME (Electronic Music Association) Link Festival at @Matucana100, one of the most iconic cultural centers of Chile, people will experience: 🏳 The "Festival DAO", a massive arts and electronic music showcase featuring 30+ performances from 45+ artists, all organized by the DAO itself, with the support of 30+ cultural workers. 🏳 The "DAO Festival", a dedicated space in the venue's main gallery, with exhibitions, 14 talks and conversation panels by 25+ speakers, diving into DAOs, Web3, Cardano and the governance paradigms for global society, mainstream culture, and the creative economy. All of which will be recorded so you can tune in from anywhere! 1️⃣ The "Festival DAO": the event was built by IME community in their DAO, with guidance from @CoperativaLocal, through a partnership with @Clarity_DAO platform. Active musicians, event producers, publishers, and cultural workers from the IME Chile network of 180 became the decision-makers and owners. Over 50 DAO members -and growing- have already submitted 60 proposals and cast more than 1,000 votes to co-create the festival’s lineup and structure. The work continues using Clarity platform to track contributions, reward points for benefits, and manage a transparent treasury on @Cardano Blockchain, with clear discussions and polls to achieve consensus regarding the criteria for resource use and their distribution to every worker. And to ensure every worker is paid seamlessly, our local payment partner @skipo_app handles their $ADA conversions to local money. 2️⃣ The "DAO Festival": Alongside the main musical programming, @CoperativaLocal will host a dedicated space on the main gallery, with 14 talks and conversation panels showcasing the practical knowledge, proven models, real-world use cases, and philosophical insights that power the DAO movement. A two-day series titled "Technologies for Creative Autonomy and Decentralized Cultural Organization".
