Does anyone know what to do to help an older cat whose kidneys are getting a bit weaker?
I’m worried about my baby and would do anything for her but I don’t really know what to do other than keeping her water fresh
The scariest thing about all these benefits programs is people feel entitled to them and get extremely bitter about even a slight decrease in funds. If they get cut there will probably be unrest or worse
I had a boomer coworker who was nearing retirement. We talked about finances a lot. He was pretty knowledgeable, he played the market well and had an impressive portfolio to take him into retirement. When we were talking about my finances I mentioned off hand that I’m going to plan as if I won’t get SS, because that money is gone. This man, who was otherwise calm and reasonable sprung to attention and said “No, that’s your money! They can’t take it.”
Idk what shock conditioning course the boomers received, but it seems to have worked totally. Even the smart reasonable ones can’t seem to wrap their minds around the money they paid in has already been paid out.
My grandmother’s favorite group is Little Big Town, she doesn’t like any of their actual songs but they did some covers of Cher songs like ten years ago and sheerly based off of that they’re her favorite, somehow above Cher herself too
