2026 The unanimous Declaration of the fifty united States of America, When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political, financial, and strategic bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all nations are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Sovereignty, Security and the pursuit of National Interest.—That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, —That whenever any Form of Alliance becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Policies, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world. It has refused to respect the independent foreign policy most wholesome and necessary for the public good of the United States. It has forbidden or discouraged measures of immediate and pressing importance to American interests, unless suspended until its interests should be accommodated. It has refused to support policies for the accommodation of American security needs, unless the United States would relinquish aspects of its sovereign decision-making, a right inestimable to a free people. It has called together American legislators and officials, through various channels, at forums unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the true interests of the American people, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with its measures. It has influenced the dissolution or marginalization of independent voices repeatedly, for opposing with firmness its intrusions upon American priorities. It has obstructed the independent Administration of American Justice and policy, by exerting pressure against measures establishing clear boundaries. It has made American aid and support dependent on alignment with its Will alone, for the tenure of political favor and the amount and direction of assistance. It has erected a multitude of lobbying efforts, organizations, and influencers to harass our people, and consume our political substance. It has kept among us, through sustained campaigns, commitments and obligations without the full, ongoing consent of the governed. It has affected to render American military and intelligence assets subordinate in certain theaters. It has combined with others to subject us to strategic priorities foreign to our Constitution and unacknowledged by our long-term interests. For entangling us in regional conflicts not of our choosing: For imposing financial and political costs upon us without proportional reciprocal benefit: For influencing narratives and discourse in ways that limit open debate: For transporting American treasure and support beyond our shores in service of its objectives: For seeking to expand its influence in ways that risk drawing us into broader confrontations: In every stage of these entanglements We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated concerns have been answered only by continued pressure. A foreign state whose influence is thus marked by every act which may define overreach is unfit to hold such sway over a free and sovereign people. Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our friends and allies. We have warned of the dangers of undue external influence from time to time. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our own founding as an independent republic. We have appealed to shared values and mutual respect. They too have at times been deaf to the voice of balanced partnership. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of the nations of the world, Friends in Peace, Sovereign Equals. We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these United States, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States are, and of Right ought to be, Fully Sovereign and Independent in their Foreign Relations with the State of Israel; that they are Absolved from all special strategic Entanglements, unconditional Aid obligations, and policy subordinations to it, and that all such exceptional political connection between them and the State of Israel, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as a Free and Independent Nation, the United States has full Power to levy its own Defense, conclude its own Alliances, contract its own Partnerships, establish its own Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Free and Sovereign States may of right do.
