I spent 35 years building banking systems for banks worldwide, including central banks. I know how banks decide where their money goes. When you build systems, you have to make them work, so you have to know how they work. The Basel Committee de-industrialised the countries that adopted its rules. It's that simple: I explain the whole complicated mechanism in my essay. They simply regulated it away because that was the most profitable thing to do. It was implemented in such a systemic global way, and nobody seemed to notice Capital is what a bank must hold before it can lend, the way a manufacturer or miner must hold supplies before it can sell. No miner doubles their costs to serve one group of customers. But that's what the banking system does to miners and manufacturers. Since 1988, the Basel rules have required banks to hold twice the capital against a factory loan as against a home loan, and under Basel III the gap reaches five times. So banks lend less to industry and more against houses. It should be stopped tomorrow. Manufacturing's share of GDP fell in ten of the eleven countries I examined. In Australia it fell from 13.7% to 5.4%. Every other country that followed fell as well. The only truly crafty ones were the Koreans, who did a good job of offsetting it. Regulators were warned in writing that the rule would steer credit, and they adopted it anyway. No parliament voted for it, and it's simply too dumb to keep doing, but we do . Not today; there is no justification. Yet from India, across Europe, across the US, including Australia, sanctions against industrial capacity. Financialization has gone too far it needs to be reviewed . The charge is manslaughter by gross negligence. The mechanism is proven. Same Rules, Different Ruins:ctindale.substack.com/p/same…

Alright I know this will make some of you mad, but I got a Windows machine for the first time in 20 years so I can work on our @Gab__AI Windows app natively -bombarded with 6 slop emails after making a Microsoft account -random popups constantly -stupid halloween theme in the main search nav bar -onboarding took forever -feels like I’m in 2006 again and literally nothing has improved in 20 years -laptop has a number pad built in and thus a condensed left aligned keyboard that is annoying as heck and causes me to constantly mistype things -Set up my agent and had it remove 36 bloatware apps and running garbage This is the most jeet-coded experience possible how does anyone use this?

The IRS sent armed agents into a family bakery and drained $68,382 from its bank account. Their “crime”? Depositing their OWN CASH in amounts under $10,000. Then the government demanded ANOTHER $160,000 and a guilty plea to a FELONY. The IRS called it “structuring”: deliberately keeping deposits small to dodge bank reporting rules. DAVID VOCATURA: “I said to them, ‘Maybe I should get a lawyer.’ And they said, ‘You don’t need one, step in the back.’” “Until the day they came in, I had no idea what structuring was.” “I’m a law-abiding citizen. I can’t remember the last time I got a speeding ticket.” Nearly three years after seizing the money, a prosecutor came back with a deal that carried up to FOUR YEARS IN PRISON: DAVID VOCATURA: “They wanted us to pay another additional $160,000 in fines and plead to a felony charge of structuring.” They refused. You bake bread for three generations. You pay your taxes. You put your own money in the bank. And the IRS treats you like a criminal, demanding nearly a quarter million dollars. CONTEXT: Fortunately, the IRS didn’t get away with this one. Hours after the Institute for Justice sued, the IRS agreed to return all $68,382.22. Two weeks later, it withdrew a grand jury subpoena demanding eight years of the bakery’s business records. Crazy that they tried to ruin a business over depositing money into their own bank account.

Gambling and porn are massively destructive in a society. Drive it all underground (you can never fully stamp it out). Liberty should not be confused with a libertine citizenry.

If you read Schmitt’s “The Concept of the Political,” globalism, global development, and mass immigration are all the logical extension of the liberal mindset that is driven by the interests of the commercial class. In reality it’s both. Liberalism and the commercial society are deeply intertwined at their core. You have to understand that the notions of individual liberty and libertarianism and small government are a mask for “let me pursue my economic interests without interference from king or crown.” Democracy and the voting franchise were a way to strip power from the nobility and gentry and hand it to the commercial class so they could govern their own affairs. Creighton makes this point about Canada and the US. Schmitt makes it as well about America. Hence, if the commercial class thinks they need immigrants to settle the west or to lower wage costs, they now have the political system and levers to do that without opposition or concern for the people. Development is done to open new markets. Yes, this is a deeply cynical view of things like development and Christian world missions. Well meaning and well intended Christians are doing the work for the commercial state, even if they don’t realize it. “Liberty” means “I have the freedom to import infinity immigrants” This is key to understanding the current system and the current ruling formula. Schmitt noted this: there is no one looking out for the interests of the people. He called America an “anti-state.” Which is why I find it hilarious and ridiculous when people use the friend-enemy distinction to talk about party politics. In both Canada and the US, we don’t have a state in the proper sense. There is no government expressing the will of the people or looking out for their interests and their existential future. We have businessmen organizing the resources of nations for their benefit with the unmolested freedom to simply dictate affairs as they choose. You live in an economic zone pretending to be a nation, held together by propaganda and a bunch of so-called noble lies. The faster you realize this the better.

I used to tell men, "Don't date or marry a feminist...they'll murder your unborn children." This new fourth wave of feminism is more sadistic and unhinged than ever. Now, we have to warn that feminists will actually murder you in your sleep and strangle your children while you're at the grocery store. The backlash against feminism has only begun and it will be historic...

I can tell you from talking to young white men behind the scenes that things are incredibly desperate right now. We have guys down to their last $100, last $50, guys selling their gun collection to make rent, men who have been out of work for years, genius autodidact engineers living with their parents, unemployed software developers who know 8 programming languages, Vice Presidents of companies getting purged by Indians and living off their wife's income. Maxxed out credit cards. SpaceX and petrochemical engineers living in their cars and making money off DoorDash gig apps. Most of these young white men have test scores, certifications, and advanced STEM degrees which they were promised would make them RICH, and instead they've been brutally racially discriminated against. A lot of these young men are veterans who fought in the GWOT and their country has completely abandoned them and given everything away to foreigners. And this is not like one guy, this is dozens of guys. Honestly I'm not surprised at all, I've been telling people for the past 18 months how bad it is right now. The Texas oil fields are a lifeline for guys who are getting their cars repossessed, their phones shut off, their credit cards decline, and evicted by their landlords. Some of these young white men are needing to borrow enough money to drive out to a new job. They don't have anything left in the bank. Their credit score is so bad they can't borrow the money through usual channels. We're helping these guys as much as we can, they're getting a path to an actual long-term, high-paid prestige career rather than a gig economy shit job. There are too many desperate guys for us to help right now. We don't have enough money and power and influence, not yet. But we're individually vetting young men and feeding them into career pipelines at a slow pace. Remember this. We are going to survive, we are going to win and rebuild, most of the people who survived this far are going to make it out to the other side of the tunnel. But we can never forget what the Libtards did to our best young men. It's completely unforgivable.

Mostly, an economy intentionally designed to make home ownership corporate instead of private, and to make family formation a rich man’s game. The better question is who is causing the following: Laws that make passing an inheritance to your kids next to impossible. Migrants and women in the workforce, suppressing wages and making single-earner households a pipe-dream for most people. A Great Depression-level job market that demands we become economic migrants hunting jobs like savages hunting buffalo on the Plains, prohibiting real community rootedness where we grew up. Twenty-dollar burritos. Food additives and environmental toxins that have lowered sperm count by 70%. Vaccines and pharmaceutical poisons lowering fertility in women to crisis levels. Cultural indoctrination making many or most White women insufferable for marriage, and getting them to murder a sizable percentage of their offspring. Churches telling us it’s our duty to be replaced silently, to adopt Third World babies instead of making them, and that the Bible opposes migration law. Global migration policies intentionally designed to flood White countries with the Third World, replacing us. Completely useless and pointless but planned wars that disproportionately kill White people. Legalized discrimination against White people at federal, state, and local levels. Answer: It’s all the same people doing all of the above. Which is a giant, blinking billboard of a clue that it’s centrally planned and intentional.
Replying to @JoelWebbon

If you want to understand why healthcare is so expensive, I'd start with a Supreme Court case about teeth whitening. Around 2003, spas and small kiosks in North Carolina were offering teeth whitening for a fraction of what dentists charge. So dentists complained to the state dental board. That dental board looks like this: - 6 of 8 are practicing dentists, elected by other dentists - 8 of the 10 who sat on the board during this period earned substantial fees from whitening The board sent 47+ cease-and-desist letters, warning non-dentists that they're committing a crime by practicing dentistry without a license. The board also sent letters to mall operators, advising them to expel whitening kiosks. All this worked! These kiosks shut down, prices stayed high, dentists stayed happy. Regulatory capture like this exists all over in healthcare. What makes this case notable is that someone actually sued the NC dental board, in a case that went all the way to the supreme court. In a 6-3 ruling, the SC ruled that if a board is run by those who participate in the market without proper supervision - that looks like a cartel, therefore, antitrust law applies. I have to believe there are so many other potential cases like this in healthcare, just waiting to be pressed on. I'd love to see more of this.

Having gone through multiple rounds of this, it seems that cancellations are an expression of perceived political power. The left feels empowered and so woke is back on the menu.
