In this video, I revisit a box set I reviewed and unboxed five years ago: Stranded in Reality by Ian Hunter. I wanted to see how it feels to own this set now, how often I still return to it, and whether my thoughts have changed over time. There’s also a timely reason for revisiting it — the price has dropped significantly, even though there aren’t many copies left. I take you back inside the box, talk about the music, the books, the signed print, and explain why this remains one of my favourite box sets in my entire music library. If you’re an Ian Hunter or Mott the Hoople fan, or if you’ve ever wondered whether these large career-spanning box sets are really worth it, this one’s for you. youtu.be/RsUJ-UUIH4o
