🇺🇦🙏 Soldier, who was evacuated by drone for the first time in history, spent 491 days in a row at the position, - Suspilne.
▪️Konstiantyn Vlasenko held a position in a concrete drainage pipe. After the death of his comrade, he was left alone. Due to severe injuries from the discharges and gangrene, he amputated his own leg with a knife, the other rotted away on its own. Evacuation by land was impossible due to constant shelling.
▪️The Russians demanded that he surrender through loudspeakers, but the soldier refused to be taken prisoner and remained at the position. For months, Ukrainian UAVs dropped medicine, food and water to him. Now the defender is safe and recovering under the supervision of doctors.

Venäjä saattaa vielä tappaa suuren määrän eurooppalaisia siviilejä sabotaasi-iskuillaan. Olen varoittanut tästä uhasta jo pidemmän aikaa, ja siihen on syytä suhtautua äärimmäisen vakavasti.
Venäjä on valmis hyväksymään jopa suuria siviiliuhrimääriä Euroopassa toteuttamiensa operaatioiden seurauksena. Matkustajakoneen tuhoaminen, junaliikenteeseen kohdistuva sabotaasi tai matkustajalaivan upottaminen eivät ole mahdottomia skenaarioita.
Kaikkein vaarallisinta on, ettei Venäjän tarvitse edes tavoitella joukkomurhaa. Riittää, että se suhtautuu täysin piittaamattomasti siihen, kuinka monta viatonta ihmistä sen toiminnan seurauksena kuolee.
Emme voi odottaa ensimmäistä suurkatastrofia ja alkaa vasta sitten pohtia, mitä Venäjälle pitäisi tehdä. Jos Moskova on valmis vaarantamaan kansalaistemme hengen näin häikäilemättömästi, meidän on oltava valmiita myös voimakkaisiin vastatoimiin.
Venäjän on ymmärrettävä jo etukäteen, että tällaisella toiminnalla olisi sille vakavat seuraukset. Pelote, joka alkaa toimia vasta siviilien kuoltua, on epäonnistunut.
Pidän erityisen vaarallisena mahdollisuutta, että Kreml arvioi lännen päättäväisyyden väärin ja uskoo voivansa jatkaa iskujaan ilman merkittävää vastareaktiota. Juuri tällainen virhearvio voisi johtaa hallitsemattomaan eskalaatioon.
Euroopan on nyt osoitettava, että sillä on sekä kyky että tahto suojella kansalaisiaan. Pelkkä huolestuneisuus ei enää riitä.

If you want to know Russia’s TRUE intentions, there is no point in listening to what is said outside its borders—listen to what is being said INSIDE Russia.
A recent review of Russian media by @BBCSteveR is an excellent example of the actual sentiment prevailing in Russia regarding a peace deal or compromise.
Russians are eager to continue their barbaric war in Ukraine, and without real pressure on the Russian economy and war machine, the situation will not change.

I am beyond exhausted.
I've spent the entire day reaching out to anyone and everyone I can, trying to find support for our soldiers and the civilians still living here in Donetsk Oblast.
We are on the verge of a humanitarian crisis.
Curfew is expected to increase to 19 hours a day. Businesses are packing up and leaving. The situation is getting worse, and the people who remain are going to need more help than ever.
And somehow, at the worst possible time, my Facebook account has been restricted following what I believe was a mass-reporting attack, and my Instagram has been deactivated.
I've started a LinkedIn account, and I'll be putting more effort into my other platforms while I try to resolve this mess with Meta.

It's incredibly disappointing. Especially when social media is one of the most important tools I have to reach people willing to help.
I feel like the #US government has turned its back on us, and every day it becomes harder to find the support we desperately need.
But tomorrow I'll get up and keep working, because my soldiers still need equipment, civilians still need assistance, and none of this stops just because I'm exhausted.

We went through the worst:
1. A 2018 email forwarded by Alexander Gauland concerns a "Hitler-Wallfahrt", a Hitler pilgrimage, by a former judge at the party's Thuringia arbitration court.
2. A member joked in a district WhatsApp group about turning refugees into handbags and boots, an allusion to the Nazi camps.
3. A district chairman quit, saying a board member sent a "Heil Hitler" Christmas card with a swastika and it was laughed off.
4. A Bavarian official urged party leaders to chant "Merkel verrecke", roughly "Merkel, croak", every day.
5. Federal party staff discussed luring a photographer to an event to remove him by force. The thread signs off "Heil und Sieg".
6. A 2025 NRW email is titled "Sale of swastika flags and drugs at the info stand".
7. This year alone, branches moved against members over a Nazi banner with a swastika, a Hitler impression and a call for machine guns against Arab clans.
