One of the takeaways I shared during AI Creator Day is that AI might change how we create, but what makes great content hasn’t changed.
It’s still about understanding who you’re creating for, making something genuinely useful, and hopefully inspiring people along the way.
Loved getting to spend the day with so many filmmakers and creators exploring where all of this is headed. Lots of great conversations, cool projects, and new ways of thinking about what’s possible with these tools.

For those who’ve been following along, I’ve been developing the world of Haul on and off for nearly two years.
One of the things I love about building Promise is having an incredible development team around me that helps keep these worlds alive, even when I’m pulled into bigger productions.
Over the long weekend, I decided to dive back in. I pushed some of the latest AI filmmaking tools, experimented with what they’re now capable of, and used them to go deeper into this world.
This is the result.
HAUL
In Purgatory, the dead earn their way into Heaven by hunting fallen angels. A guilt-ridden former Marine is one soul away from salvation when his final haul turns into a journey through Hell itself.

This is "The Odyssey" as Homer intended. My longest, most intricate work to date. I pushed @grok @imagine to its absolute limits to create this 5-minute epic.
What bothered me most about the recent adaptation was the omission of the Phaeacians and Princess Nausicaa, whom Odysseus told his story to in the original poem.
I focused my rendition on the introduction to Nausicaa and his love for his family. The motive driving him was the memory he kept for so long, even when his journey tried to make him forget. As a husband and new father, that's something I felt deeply. I challenged myself to try to fit everything I could from the source material and used GROK for research.
