What’s really killing this ecosystem is clearly the community’s loss of critical thinking.
It's not because you have a financial or emotional attachment to a project, that you should stop questioning it or criticism (in a constructive way) the decisions that are made.
This is both bad for the project, which gets no factual feedback, no useful comments, and no interesting analysis from its community, and so can never really take a step back to look at what's happening / what it's done.
And at the same time, it’s bad for the community itself, which will just get lost in disappointment, convince itself that the project is all bullish (without seeing that they’re actually being milked), and create false hopes.
Writing bull posts every day long to try to avoid reality and certain problems / questions that are legitimate, isn't going to pump your bag or actually improve the situation.
And this applies to all types of projects in the ecosystem.
Projects that qualify criticism/questioning of certain decisions as “fud” are the worst possible outcome.
The entire ecosystem can thank the @HyperliquidPC for this.
Not a lot of people realize the job that they’ve done over the last few months.
Job’s not finished.

.@krakenfx is the first of a long list of CEX to realize that the @HyperliquidX infrastructure is the most relevant / performant for building their own perpetuals market.
@coinbase is probably the next one.
Welcome to the House of All Finance.
Hyperliquid
And btw we don’t highlight @Sterling_hl’s work as BD enough. Well done dude.
Honestly when I see all these retarded KOL talking about Variational, I feel like we might be watching @paradex V2 play out.
Just know guys that your content is not helping the project at all, it’s just actually hurting it and making it look less credible.
Good luck to @variational_io
Every perp DEX is pivoting to RFQ.
First it was Lighter and Extended, now even Hyperliquid.
You know what that means?
They're scared of Variational, because their product is superior.
The only way to keep up with them is to copy them.
And you want to dump your $VAR airdrop at TGE?
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to VARhalla.
Reminder of some of the rumors that have been spreading around @tradexyz / @unitxyz since launch:
- Unit Labs is just a proxy of the @HyperliquidX team
- TradeXYZ is 100% favored by Hyperliquid, helping them grow
- TradeXYZ is gonna airdrop its token and dump hyperliquid:native instantly
- TradeXYZ will eventually leave Hyperliquid to launch its own infra
- TradeXYZ is currently raising equity at a $1.5B valuation
- Today, TradeXYZ is getting acquired by @coinbase
Once again, ct needs to find something to debate about one of the only projects actually performing and that doesn’t communicate on what they’re building.
The best answer to all of this is just keep moving forward and let the results speak for themselves.

Introducing Events by trade[XYZ].
With Events, we’re advancing our vision of Hyperliquid as the universal exchange—a single, composable system for trading financial assets and real-world outcomes.
A user can deposit spot BTC, borrow USDC through portfolio margin, open a pre-ipo SpaceX perp position, hedge an upcoming SK Hynix earnings event with an events market, and pick the US Open winner—all from a single unified account on trade[XYZ].
Events will span sports, politics, economics, and financial markets, with an expanding range of categories and contract formats.
Our initial Up/Down markets cover equities, commodities, and pre-IPOs, powered by the depth and liquidity of trade[XYZ] perpetuals on HIP-3. These perpetuals provide continuous price discovery and serve as the resolution source, so each contract is grounded in XYZ's liquid market prices rather than an external oracle.
Interesting how you leave out the only metric that actually matters when we want comparing DEX.
The Open Interest:
- Nasdaq 100: $52M on @variational_io / $205M on tradeXYZ
- Gold: $84M on Variational / $327M on tradeXYZ
- US 500: $41M on Variational / $376M on tradeXYZ
- Silver: $18M on Variational / $131M on @tradexyz
Also weird that you don’t mention that one uses incentives to boost volume on these pairs while and the other has never used any, no matter the stage of development.
Anyway, comparing these two products makes absolutely no sense, even less when you look at what phase they’re in and what goals they’re actually trying to reach.
We're seeing Variational flipping TradeXYZ in real time on volume:
US100: 500M on Variational vs 229M on Trade
GOLD: 200M vs 86M
SP500: 124M vs 150M
This is just Variational Swaps, not even adding perps, and they're live for only a few days
Swaps are way more powerful than perps for big markets like commodities, FX or indices because of fixed funding rates
Variational is going to be #1 pretty fast on those markets
Cobie trying to teach ct’s retards the basics of how a blockchain works

Replying to @ceterispar1bus
Not one to point out the obvious but this is not some coordinated launch between Hunter Biden and Jesse or CB or Base or whatever. Jesse/CB cannot control who launches things on Base and it doesn’t mean something being there is an endorsement by CB
Yeah @tradexyz just launched what some would call an entire company, with no public announcement, no marketing campaign, no incentives.
Well played. Can’t wait to see what’s next (still way too much coming..)
btw HIP-4 growth and development will be fundamentally different from HIP-3, and so will the results that come with it.
Simply because a setup where two/three deployers actually grow and scale while sharing the market is way more realistic on HIP-4 than it ever was on HIP-3.
What’s gonna be interesting to analyze now is the difference in deployment strategy each deployer is gonna take.
For once, the opportunity for other deployers to compete with a player as strong as TradeXYZ will actually be possible, bringing so many benefits to the entire @HyperliquidX ecosystem.
Unlike HIP-3 where the endgame stays focused on perps, the deployment and innovation possibilities HIP-4 offers are massive.
Can’t wait to see which deployer figures this out...
And no, simple prediction markets are not the endgame of HIP-4 and imo that’s not the axis where growth and adoption will be the strongest.
Hyperliquid.
Glad to join this team
Thanks to them for the opportunity

OAK Research never left during the bear. We're not going anywhere now either.
Two new faces joining @OAK_Res this week:
- @0xApart joins me on the BD side. He interned at OAK almost a year ago, and apparently it wasn't painful enough the first time. If you're a protocol or team we'd want to work with, expect him in your DMs soon.
- @Prometherr joins our Research & Premium team with @MaximilienP51 & @oak_intern curating the Alpha Feed, managing our socials, and contributing to the overall research process.
As the market regains its strength, we're doubling down on what we've done since day one: working with teams we align with, and shipping the best research we can.
We are only getting started. LFG
and btw thanks to @PowerPasheur for a lot of things since the beginning

hyperliquid:native new ATH at $85
update @hantengri ?
The launch of Elysium by @Kinetiq_xyz announced 24h earlier.
Pumpfun:
Whether you’re for or against it, the launch of an L2 on Hyperliquid by @Kinetiq_xyz is bullish short-term for @HyperliquidX and therefore for HYPE.
Simply because it brings one of the most important components for an ecosystem; innovation.
This innovation will logically attract attention from new builders curious to test the new tech stack (and see if it’s better than HyperEVM itself btw), users trying to front-run the first memecoins launching on the chain, etc.
Basically, innovation = new opportunities.
I’m specifying short-term because nothing guarantees that:
- there will be user retention
- builders stay long-term and don’t leave for somewhere else
- the activity actually turns into sustainable fees and value accrual for hyperliquid:native
- users’ expectations will be met
The risk of seeing an Ethereum-style scenario where overall activity escapes to L2s is extremely low, given how little activity there currently is on HyperEVM.
From my view, at this stage it can only be EV+ for the ecosystem.
But either way things are moving and changing.
Can’t wait to see how it plays out.
Good luck to them.
Hyperliquid
Trump mentions Hyperliquid?
Hyperliquid soon regulated in the US?
hyperliquid:native new ATH?
Circle yield buybacks in 4 days?
Custom Fees for HIP-3 pairs?
Stars release for HIP-3 deployers?
HIP-4 soon fully released?
We are early.
Hyperliquid
This is the time we’re gonna see that everyone was right huh?
Disappeared from CT for 5 months but:
- "All in hyperliquid:native since May"
- "DCA bitcoin:native the whole way down from 75k"
- "Held $ETH and even reloaded at the bottom"
Just know that we see you guys
Hmm I gotta admit interesting questions.
If @HyperliquidX infrastructure becomes legal in the U.S (and therefore builder codes as well), does that also allow any U.S company to use and integrate them?
Do they also have to go through extra steps on their side to get regulated?
Should builder codes be considered a differentiating component of Hyperliquid?
If @jchervinsky or another @HyperliquidPC employee you’ve got some answers to drop that would be interesting!
One of the things that has been overlooked with respect to CFTC policy for on-chain markets and the US on-shoring of Hyperliquid is builder codes.
I guarantee there are many large scale businesses who would love to offer perpetuals to their customers and would be excited at the prospect of not building out the infrastructure or bootstrapping the liquidity to monitize the flow from their already established customer base.
Post regulatory clarity you may end up seeing Hyperliquid everywhere.
