Greatly looking forward to conducting this concert with @AthenaeumSinger in Warminster later this evening. It’s our last concert of the term until Christmas, so come along for an evening of well-loved classics, as well as drinks and canapés following the concert!
Today it all happens, @AthenaeumSinger s & @ThomasMotty go on their European Travels with Franck, Lassus and Uusberg to name just a few. We successfully braved travel disruptions 🚧 last evening for our final rehearsal. There will be some tickets on the door so don’t miss it!

Well this isn’t a bad way to end 2023! Very excited to be conducting three services at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London over the NYE weekend with @PromConsort!
ONE MONTH TO GO!
We are delighted to be singing services at @StPaulsLondon over the New Year’s Eve weekend (Saturday 30th-Sunday 31st December). Music will include anthems and responses by living composers (such as @Will_Todd_Music), as well as a mass by Josef Rheinberger.

I am very pleased to share this recording of my composition 'Afterglow' (written in memory of my grandparents) from last Saturday's concert with @AthenaeumSinger at our 'Remembrance Concert'. Thank you so much to everyone, including our accompanists!

My first time ever having headshots done and I’m very pleased with how they’ve come out! Taken at one of my choral homes - the beautiful Malmesbury Abbey.

An absolutely FAB tour with @harryensemble in Italy, celebrating 10 years and performing in some beautiful places, esp. St. Peter’s Basilica. I feel privileged to have conducted/played the organ there and thank @EdwardRhysHarry for his support and belief in me!

Well, the setting up for @ECEChoral at Abbey Dore is an ongoing soaking experience! But we are hugely looking forward to welcoming forty lovely singers who will be put through their paces next week. Major work is Dyson’s beautiful Sweet Thames run softly and so much more.

My lovely choir, @AthenaeumSinger, were on @Escape_Country today! You can catch them at 15:12 to hear them sing and speak about the choir - and, as @lightlyliz puts it so beautifully, how singing in a choir is “something approaching total joy”.

A lovely (but knackering) day yesterday - leading a Come and Sing ‘Messiah’ with @AthenaeumSinger in Warminster and then heading over to my church in Monmouth to watch @monmouthsing’s Bach ‘St. John Passion’. I slept well last night!
What a fabulous day! Quirky insights, clear direction, spot on accompaniment, great singing, a Yorkshire tale, laughs a plenty and cake! Everyone left feeling elated and some new members to boot. What more could you ask for? Thanks @ThomasMotty Douglas Stevens and all who came.

Remember when @BBCSingers performed at the Opening Night of the @bbcproms 2020? In the middle of a pandemic, socially distanced and in an empty RAH - something only they could do. Have the @BBC forgotten this? The future of choral music is at breaking point. #WeAreTheBBCSingers
