After 5+ years, we're winding down POAP.
Over the years, we:
* minted millions of collectibles across hundreds of communities.
* did incredible collaborations with world-class organizations - Coinbase, Amex, WMG, Bayer, and a long tail of others, including countless in crypto.
* ran one of the biggest activations at Devcon, minting 8000+ collectibles over the course of a week.
* built an Airport Rally to let collectors get POAPs at airports around the world.
POAP meant something to a lot of people.
Unfortunately, crypto's funding cycles and distribution dynamics made it hard to build a sustainable company without cannibalizing the ethos that made POAP mean something. Building on a fragile and quickly evolving stack, in the middle of an incredible hype cycle, only added to the challenges.
Still, there are some big lessons I am carrying from the POAP story.
First: Customer communities are the most undervalued asset a company can have. If you build something with soul, people who use it and love it will take your brand everywhere. Do not underestimate the power of customer communities.
Second: Connection is still the point. It's easy to lose that thread when the conversation is about the latest bubbly tech or price speculation, but the people using POAPs at events, in classrooms, at hackathons were getting something real out of it.
Third: Longevity and brand equity are the only moats left. With the time to building and shipping something new collapsing quickly, and distribution becoming increasingly an engineering problem, customers increasingly want to make sure they can trust that the things they are buying will grow and evolve with the market, without changing radically.
Grateful for everyone who believed in what we were building. It's too soon for me to say what's next, but for now, I'm thinking a lot about what GTM looks like in the age of AI.

Most unlock tools show you a calendar.
I built something that shows you the damage path.
Token unlocks are public.
The market still prices them late.
What usually exists:
• vesting dashboards
• unlock calendars
• “AI summaries” of the same public data
Useful. Incomplete.
They tell you when.
They don’t reason about absorption, recipient behavior, cliff vs linear, or whether 24h volume can take the hit.
So I built TUAN - Token Unlock Analysis Network.
Not another dashboard.
An autonomous tokenomics intelligence agent on GenLayer.
You submit an unlock.
Seven independent validators each:
-> pull live market data
-> run LLM reasoning
-> produce a bearish / neutral / bullish distribution
Then they reach comparative consensus.
Verdict, confidence, key factors stored on-chain.
This only works cleanly on GenLayer.
Non-deterministic reasoning + multi-validator equivalence is the product, not a side feature.
Predicting supply pressure before the market reacts.
Would love feedback from the GenLayer community, especially on the analysis schema and what you’d want next (auto-ingest, more factors, historical backtests).

semakin sadar kalau banyak opportunity ternyata dimulai dari terminal.
Ada satu skill yang jarang dibahas di era AI dan hampir semua builder bakal ketemu cepat atau lambat :
• Ubuntu
• Linux
• Docker
• VPS
• SSH
• Terminal
Kalau sampai hari ini daftar di atas masih terasa asing, menurut gua sayang banget.
Karena banyak opportunity dimulai dari sana.
→ Run Node
→ Deploy dApps
→ Self-host AI Agent
→ Cloud
→ Automation & Bot
→ AI Infrastructure
Cepat atau lambat, hampir semuanya akan berkaitan dengan Linux.
Menurut gua, nggak perlu langsung jadi Linux expert.
Tapi kalau serius mau jadi builder, basic Linux adalah salah satu fondasi yang wajib dipahami as IT in general.
"Kan sekarang semuanya bisa dibantu AI?"
Betul, AI bisa menjelaskan dan bahkan AI bisa execute command.
But, AI tidak bertanggung jawab ketika command itu dijalankan. 😄
Satu command yang salah bisa berakibat fatal, service stop, node offline, atau deployment gagal.
Pake AI sebagai mentor belajar. Minta AI menjelaskan command.
Jangan jadikan AI sebagai tombol copy-paste.
Karena pada akhirnya ..
Yang membedakan bukan siapa yang paling sering memakai AI. Tapi siapa yang benar-benar memahami fundamental.
Btw, ada yang pertama kali belajar Linux gara-gara run node atau deploy project?

Orang sering bilang AI adalah skill paling penting hari ini.
Menurut gua, AI adalah accelerator.
Tapi fondasinya tetap sama: Linux.
Karena saat mulai deploy ke VPS, menjalankan node, self-host AI Agent, atau bangun aplikasi Web3 ..
Yang dibutuhkan bukan sekadar prompt.
Yang dibutuhkan adalah pemahaman tentang infrastructure.
Cepat atau lambat, hampir semua jalan itu bakal ketemu Linux.
Makanya gua bikin seri Linux untuk Web3 Builder.
Semoga bisa jadi titik awal buat siapa pun yang ingin serius membangun di Web3.

Baca thread @courtofinternet langsung bikin gua mikir: "Ini baru penting banget buat kita freelancer di Indonesia."
Di sini, dispute kecil aja apalagi yang lintas negara sering bikin pusing. Pengadilan biasa bisa makan waktu berbulan-bulan, bahkan bertahun-tahun. Padahal sekarang banyak freelancer mulai pakai AI agent buat ambil kerja dari luar negeri.
Bayangin skenario ini: AI agent dapat job bikin desain dari klien luar. Uang masuk escrow, kerja dikirim. Tapi klien bilang ada elemen yang mirip copyright. Dulu? Bisa ribut berhari-hari, reputasi jelek, atau akhirnya pasrah rugi.
Dengan Internet Court + @GenLayer, dispute seperti ini bisa dicek sama AI jury dalam hitungan menit. Putusannya fair, otomatis update reputation, dan uang tetap bisa cair dengan aman.
Bukan cuma soal teknologi. Ini adalah trust layer yang selama ini kurang di agentic commerce. Tanpa ini, orang kecil di emerging market seperti Indonesia susah ikut main di ekonomi yang akan datang.
Machine-speed money butuh machine-speed adjudication. Dan buat kita di sini, ini bisa jadi game changer.
