After the Lindsay Clancy mistrial, Massachusetts is expanding home checks for every new baby.
Gov. Maura Healey: “Everybody in the state, when you have a baby, you’re going to have a home visit… an opportunity for a healthcare provider to make an assessment.”
Just 11 days after the jury deadlocked in the Lindsay Clancy case. The state is putting $2 million behind Welcome Family so a nurse can come to your house in the first weeks after birth to check on mom and baby, and screen for postpartum mental health.
This is SO refreshing.
Feminists will say they support women having the freedom to choose whatever life they want but if that were really true, they wouldn’t be so angry that Taylor is happily married.
Marriage is GOOD, and it should be celebrated. 💕
