We’re working with @ClimateActionWR to launch fun and free climate workshops for the Waterloo Region community.

In addition to making your house more energy efficient, retrofitting your home can improve your comfort levels as well. Here's just one example:

A huge thank you to @HendersonPLLP Culture Club for hosting a Green from Home webinar last month! We were inspired by the group’s enthusiasm, curiosity and great ideas for taking climate action!

It's #WorldEnvironmentDay‌2024, a great time to celebrate the gifts our planet offers. Nature offers us food, water, opportunities for adventure and play, warmth and comfort - to name a few. What are you grateful for and how might you practice reciprocity for our planet?

Worried about climate change? Scared about what the future will bring for the kids in your life? 🫣 At our May Community Call, we’ll be joined by Brianne Whyte, Team Lead of @ForOurKidsTO 👏

We began the Community Call in August of 2023, and so far we’ve had a variety of wonderful guest speakers and topics! 🙂

Looking for impactful and hopeful climate action education in your workplace? We’ve heard from participants of Green from Home(GfH) that the content they learn during the GfH workshop sticks with them 😊

The average Project Neutral Carbon Footprint Calculator household emits about 5.9 metric tons of CO2e from daily transportation each year.🚗 It will take about 100 tree seedlings 10 years of growing in order to absorb that carbon dioxide back out of the atmosphere. 🌱

Over the past academic year, a group of students from the @UofT School of Environment have been carrying out a research project with us as environmental consultants! Last week they presented their final findings. We are so appreciative of their hard work and insights! 👏

We have some big news! Starting this month, we are onboarding Amy onto the Project Neutral team as our new Project Director! 👍🏻 Welcome, Amy! 😀

Unleash your inner artist! 🧑‍🎨 🎨 Join us for our next Community Call, where artist Angela Van Velzer will lead us through a climate art project. 👀 Register and learn more here: sites.google.com/projectneut…

Fun fact! 🤔 Our carbon footprint calculator has measured over 275,600 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. That’s equal to the greenhouse gas emissions from 61,418 gasoline-powered cars on the road for a full year! 🚗

Our next run of #TalkClimatetoMe starts this #April and you can have a front row seat! 👏🏻 Catch us online for three 1-hour episodes followed by 30 minute breakout sessions Monday evenings or Tuesdays at lunchtime or dive deep in our Weekend Intensive!

We often get asked the question, “can men sign up for Talk Climate to Me?” 🤔 And the answer is yes! TCTM warmly welcomes people of all genders to come learn with us.😀
