Domestic abuse is widespread, insidious and changing lives.
It is a public emergency that needs to be tackled now.

The countdown to our National Conference has begun!
Ongoing contact with a perpetrator can have harmful effects for children; evidence shows that perpetrators may neglect children during contact visits, put them at risk and subject them to abuse. Children’s right to be safe from violence and abuse must be prioritised above parents’ entitlements over their children. Child contact reform is needed.
📢 Join SWA and leading Scottish and international experts in law, justice and social work to explore and draw attention to the systemic issues at play regarding #childcontact, highlighting the need to reform justice processes in Scotland.
