PRESS RELEASE TINUBU’S UMRAH ANNOUNCEMENT: ATIKU DEMANDS DAILY PHOTO AND VIDEO PROOF Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of using his announced Umrah pilgrimage as a smokescreen or subterfuge, saying credible intelligence available to him points to France as the President’s actual destination. In a statement issued by Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Atiku said there was reason to believe President Tinubu might just make a brief appearance in Makkah before proceeding to France. He also raised questions about whether the trip is connected to the President’s health and a reported $20 billion loan request involving a French business partner. Atiku called on the Presidency to address these concerns and disclose the President’s full itinerary. Atiku said that if President Tinubu is truly traveling to pray for Nigeria, the Presidency should release clear, current, date-stamped photographs and videos each day showing him at the Kaaba and participating in the rites of Umrah. Nigerians, he said, deserve verifiable proof of the President’s presence in Makkah and a transparent account of his daily activities in the Holy Land. Atiku said he and other Nigerians would join President Tinubu in salat and prayers for the peace and progress of the country. He cautioned that no one should invoke the name of Almighty Allah in vain, adding that a spiritual mission undertaken on behalf of the nation must be treated with seriousness and transparency. He said an official trip presented as a mission for Nigeria is a matter of public interest. Nigerians are entitled to know the President’s daily engagements and how the trip is being funded. He urged the Presidency to answer these questions plainly and provide the evidence the country deserves. Signed: Phrank Shaibu Director of Strategic Communication ADC Presidential Campaign Council 28th October 2026
STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU DEPARTS ABUJA FOR MAKKAH TO PRAY FOR THE NATION President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Thursday for Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to perform Umrah, an Islamic spiritual exercise involving a pilgrimage to the Holy City. The visit gives the President an opportunity for spiritual reflection, devotion, and prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity, stability, and continued progress. While in Makkah, President Tinubu will perform the religious rites associated with Umrah, seeking Allah’s guidance and blessings for Nigeria and its people. Before leaving Abuja, President Tinubu will commission at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport some equipment acquired by the Nigerian Air Force for its operations. The President is expected back in the country next week, after completing the spiritual exercise. Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy) October 28, 2026

Nigeria is in serious trouble! After the Kaduna rally, there are now indications that Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialabat is being prepared for another foreign trip tomorrow, October 29, 2026, amid growing questions about his health. Hearing that five governors, some ministers, and prominent businessmen are being assembled for the trip, apparently to give it the appearance of an official business visit Like Yar’Adua, like Tinubu? #RevolutionNow #TinubuMustGo

June 2023: Nigeria's public debt was N87.38trn. June 2026: N166.79trn. Now the President is asking the Senate for $20.52bn and €1.05bn more in external loans. The question isn't whether we need roads and power. It's what each dollar returns. nairametrics.com/2026/10/27/…

Electoral manipulation in the coming election will focus more on technology, specifically by relying on an allegedly inflated voters’ register, rather than the traditional method of altering results at individual polling units. THAT FORMAT WILL NOT WORK EFFECTIVELY NEXT ELECTION AND THEY KNOW IT.. Some observers claim the current register is unrealistically high and does not match available demographic data. WHY THE SUDDEN TALKS OF Ai? WHEN DID AMUPITAN BECAME Ai APOLOGIST?

It is a huge disgrace that @inecnigeria is only ready to rig elections. In the past, we saw underage voters but thankfully, they were humans Now we don’t even see humans, we now see AI. They can’t even hide it, they are showing us glaringly. I don’t blame INEC, I blame us.

If we have to borrow money, we borrow. Borrowing is not leprosy -Tinubu Loans are not trophies Yahoo Government
President Tinubu Seeks Senate Approval To Borrow $20.5bn (₦27.55 trillion) and €1.05bn (₦1.57 trillion) For 2026–2027 Projects President Bola Tinubu has asked the Senate to approve an external borrowing plan of $20.52 billion and €1.05 billion to bridge funding gaps under the Federal Government’s 2026–2027 supplementary borrowing plan. Senate President Godswill Akpabio read the President’s request during plenary on Tuesday, stating that the proposed loans would help address Nigeria’s infrastructure deficit and fund critical sectors of the economy. In the letter, Tinubu requested approval for $20,517,755,901 and €1,045,083,643, with investments planned for power, transportation, healthcare, education, agriculture, water supply, security, job creation and financial management reforms. “I submit the attached Federal Government 2026–2027 Supplementary External Borrowing Plan for consideration and early approval of the National Assembly to ensure prompt implementation of our projects,” the President wrote. Tinubu said the proposed projects had undergone technical and economic assessments to ensure they contribute to poverty reduction, skills development, entrepreneurship and national food security. He added that external borrowing had become necessary to meet the country’s substantial infrastructure financing needs. Following the presentation, Akpabio referred the request to the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts, chaired by Senator Haruna Manu, for detailed review, with support from the Committees on Appropriations and Finance. Akpabio noted that aspects of the borrowing framework had featured in earlier government borrowing plans approved for 2025–2027. However, he said the committee would examine the scope of the latest request before further legislative action. The committee’s review is expected to clarify the proposed borrowing arrangements, disbursement timeline and alignment with Nigeria’s existing debt management framework.

Since you woke up, all your tweets has been about campaigning for Asiwaju, and I’m pretty sure that you’ve heard the news about the constant banditry attacks in Millenium city. But because of politics, you’ve lost your voice. This level of insensitivity from you guys has become something else, Sani you’ve lost all sense of humor because of politics and it’s very sad and unfortunate. You were among the few people that always speak out when things go wrong, amma saboda kun saida yancin ku, baku iya magana. Wallahi duk sai Allah ya tambaye ku. Cc @jibreelKhalil @el_uthmaan
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be Nigeria’s President again in 2027, whether you like it or not. He has shown that he has what it takes to lead Nigeria and the courage to make tough decisions for the country’s future. In 2027, we will vote for him again. #ArewaForAsiwaju
