Kool-Aid man wall burst? Run away forklift? Nope. Nothing screams madness like purposefully busting a giant hole in a wall.

I drew a mascot for my son’s little league team! Project 9 Growlers! Sponsored by @Project9Brewing
First the bad news: Building a brewery is hard! We most definitely didn't know what we were getting ourselves into with this building and the surprises it would reveal as we peeled back the layers. #seattlebreweries #seattlewa #rooseveltseattle #mapleleafseattle #drinkwabeer
The good news... There aren't many places left for any surprises to hide. Although the shell of this building will still look pretty much the same, everything else is going to be completely new.
At Project 9 we definitely love hops, but that doesn't mean that every beer needs to be packed with multiple lbs of hops per barrel. We love it that crisp lagers are gaining in popularity and appreciate the clean base that lets the subtleties of different hops shine.

New brewery incoming at 80th and LCW, @Project9Brewing.
(yeah, the signs been up for a bit. We haven't gone down 80th in a while.)
Construction and building pics are fun, but what about the beer?!
Since we've already shown off our unofficial mascot, King Lupu, here's the beer that goes with him. "King Lupu's Happy Juice" is a 7.2% IPA where we coax as much tropical goodness out of the hops as we can.
Stoked to be working with the insanely talented @garrettmorlanart. Can't wait to show more of what we have been working on!
One of the most exciting parts of the demo has been to see the opening up of the loft area. What before felt like two separate buildings mashed together is starting to feel like one!
The first step in converting an old auto body shop into a brewery is getting rid of 80 years of auto related contaminants out of the ground. It's going to get uglier before it gets pretty.
