Day 1 – Our Mission 🚀
From safeguarding against authoritarian tactics, to promoting the U.S. and its allies as leaders of an order anchored in human rights, sovereignty, and peace, @IIPS_org is dedicated to shaping strategy needed to win the global competition with China.
Day 1 ⌛– highlighting our one core mission
Our core mission is to guide decision-makers toward a more secure Asia by 2049. The U.S. and its allies must be ready for China. They place great importance on this year—the 100-year anniversary of the PRC.
Day 2 ⌛- recognizing our 2 chairmen
Our chairmen Amb. Richard Armitage (2018-2020) and the Hon. Randall Schriver (2020-today) have been invaluable leaders, guiding our research agenda and programmatic endeavors.
Day 3 ⌛- showcasing our 3 published books
Our books, which lay out the dangers of aggressive Chinese expansion, are a demonstration of deep research work by Project 2049 members, in collaboration with exceptional individuals with regional expertise. Shoutout to @Ian_M_Easton
Day 4 ⌛- a spotlight on our 4 spring interns
Shaping the next generation of Indo-Pacific experts: Hundreds of talented people came through our doors; they're making their marks in the policy world today. Their journeys inspire us; we're honored to be a part of their story.
