1/3 🚨 HIP HOP IS ON TRIAL! 🎤🔥
Should AI-generated music be recognized as authentic Hip Hop?
Our @PendulumInk students have spent FOUR WEEKS researching, preparing arguments & sharpening rebuttals. Now it’s time to put their work to the test!
October 15. Let’s debate! 👀

One of the strangest things I’ve found in BDSM research is that some people with chronic pain actually report temporary pain relief after participating in kink. A 2025 study found this in some practitioners, which is fascinating considering how much of BDSM can involve intense physical sensations.
I’m SO happy you could pull up!! You kept the chat boomin’ with your passion for the art and deep conversation. Looking forward to seeing you next month 🙏🫶
I enjoyed the conversation about AI & Hip-Hop with the
@PendulumInk community last night.
Love the good brother @MickeyFactz & he's doing work around skill building at a CRUCIAL moment in the entertainment landscape.
Also, love my new friend @ProfMooreMedia for inviting me.❤️

1/3 What’s a question that can completely change an argument? 👀 And no, it’s not “Are you done?” 😭😂
Think about how many disagreements become two people defending themselves, repeating their points & trying to prove who’s right.
Meanwhile, neither person feels heard.
2/3 One thing NVC keeps teaching me is to get curious about the NEED underneath someone’s frustration.
What matters to them? What are they hoping will change? What aren’t they receiving?
You don’t have to agree with someone’s perspective to care about what they’re experiencing
My two latest blogs are about something I’ve been learning firsthand: living life on my own terms, even when it means disappointing people who preferred the old me.
Two deeply personal pieces from Love, Unlearned.

Theres a disconnect btwn saying you respect my boundaries & actually respecting them. 6 unanswered DMs followed by publicly questioning why I won’t engage doesn’t reflect that. You never established whether I wanted friendship. My lack of engagement isn’t a barrier to overcome.

I understand and respect your feelings, my dear... I never meant to pressure you. I just wanted to build a genuine friendship with you. I'd be happy to chat privately whenever you feel comfortable
Thought I’d perform some poetry I wrote as a teenager for the final days of my 30 inconsistent days of content. 🫣 A little homage to my younger self who hated herself so bad. You’d be proud of where you are today, babygirl. Love you. 🫶
1/3 Most arguments aren’t about being right. Sometimes we’re so busy proving our point that we miss what the other person is actually fighting for.
To feel heard. Respected. Understood. Considered. Safe.
And whew… BOTH people can walk away feeling like nobody listened. 😭
2/3 You might be arguing about a missed phone call, but underneath it is a need for reassurance.
Or arguing about chores when the real issue is shared responsibility.
NVC reminds us that behind our positions are often needs we’re struggling to communicate.
