Just saw someone on twitter (yeah, X, whatever) complain about getting five review requests per week - I’m currently sitting at five per *day*! Either way, is it just me, or is the system breaking down?
Rather chuffed, unjustifiably so, at being ranked in the top 1% of scientists in the field of “Fluids and Plasmas”! I guess using the Lorenz equations makes me a fluid dynamicist. linkedin.com/posts/michael-s…

The dumbest policy decisions ever. WA currently gives bonus points to students studying harder subjects to encourage them to do so - because, you know, they’re harder. This is being removed so that students of differing ability are not disadvantaged. abc.net.au/news/2024-02-16/a…
