20 years ago today I joined the staff of @QUBelfast What a journey it has been thanks to all my mentors, (especially Paddy Johnston) fantastic colleagues in @QubPGJCCR @BelfastTrust @NICCBeamTeam, and of course my #prostatecancer patients and their families
Lovely to meet my good friend (and nuclear medicine legend) @stefanofanti4 at #BNMS spring meeting in Manchester today. We are both really excited about meeting again next week at the world's best #prostatecancer conference @APCCC_Lugano

A huge thanks to everyone who came along to our #ProEx Prostate Cancer Centre of Excellence Showcase on Friday. We heard from researchers at the cutting edge of discovery and treatment, clinicians providing care as well as those living with cancer. (1/2)

We also heard moving stories from patients who once thought they were beyond treatment. In the words of Bishop Alan Abernethy: "I should not be here."
A series of talks from PhD students gave us a glimpse into the bright future of #CancerResearch (2/2)

LIVE DAY TWO #APCCCDiagnostics25 in Lugano🇨🇭
Dr. Joe O'Sullivan @ProfJOSullivan 🇬🇧 discussing
What do you want to have reported in MRI and
PSMA PET?
To enhance the utility of MRI and PSMA PET, standardized reporting is essential across clinical settings. Prospective trials should incorporate molecular imaging to ensure consistent evaluation of treatment response. Gathering real-world data will provide a broader understanding of imaging in diverse populations, and correlating imaging results with other 'omics' data will help uncover deeper biological insights. Additionally, efforts must be made to ensure more equitable access to advanced imaging technologies, ensuring that all patients benefit from these diagnostic advances.

🎉 Celebrating Ned Parr’s Legacy of Love and Support 🎉
In honour of Ned Parr’s 70th birthday, his family raised an incredible £23,075 for prostate cancer research at the Patrick G Johnston Centre for Cancer Research, specifically the Prostate Cancer Centre for Excellence. This amazing effort shows the power of family, friends, and community coming together to make a difference. 💙
