This guy, Judge William Young (a Reagan Appointee) is "a left wing activist" and "terrorist sympathizer" according to the WH because he is standing up for the first amendment. The crap out of this administration keeps flowing.
Delighted to announce I'll be doing two events in the New York Area this week. Wednesday at Theodore's Books in Oyster Bay with the great @RepSteveIsrael and Thursday Night at McNally Jackson books with the brilliant @amandastern mcnallyjackson.com/how-to-kn…. Come join!

Renee was one of my students years ago. I held her baby. She was kind and talented, a working class mom who put herself through school despite circumstances that would’ve crumpled the pathetic rich boy politicians who sadistically abetted her murder
God damn them all
For those still on this platform, happy to announce the publication of my new book How to Know Your Self. It's a book that describes what this self is, why is malfunctions, and how you can make it work better. amazon.com/How-Know-Your-Sel…

Post-election, cue the inevitable slate of "how universities are out of touch with ordinary people" op-eds. But how does this square with the other idea that the faculty are all socialists?
I get the argument about cultural elitism, but, was there ever a time when elite universities were "in touch" with the anti-intellectual, populist inclinations of most working-class Americans?
For me, elite universities were a ticket out of the working class, both economically and culturally.
