Very excited about this paper - new way to shut down transcription in DMG - looking now at clinical translation
Inhibitors of the proteins FACT and BET disrupt transcription in #DiffuseMidlineGlioma and extend survival in mice, hinting this combo can suppress hard-to-target epigenetic drivers of this pediatric cancer. @holly_holliday_ @ProfDavidZieg @KidsCancerInst scim.ag/3ZfoysL

Together, these results support dual FACT + BET inhibition as a promising DMG therapy, hitting both tumour-intrinsic vulnerabilities and immune defenses.
