If you ever considered running for local office and thought “Hmm. I’m not sure I’m smart enough.” Rest assured that no matter how fucking dumb you are, there is someone in office right now that is even fucking dumber.

This guy still makes 3D animations on Youtube to this day, despite being an old man. Look up Vince Collins.
Makes no sense: “Watkins was convicted of operating a vehicle while intoxicated in Clay County in 2018, Indiana court records show. The charges show it was his first offense, and he did not endanger others.”

@ConsumerAffairs ranks Indiana’s roads best in the nation for the second straight year. Only 4.8% of urban roads and 1.6% of rural roads were rated poor.

Sure. We were digging a big hole. But the bigger story is why didn’t he take the shovel from our hands?
Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico's viral hospital rumor has been debunked by time-stamped security footage reviewed by The New York Times — but the bigger story may be why his campaign sat on the evidence while the conspiracy theory exploded across social media for days.
Talarico disappeared from the campaign trail for nine days in early October, fueling rampant speculation that he had secretly traveled to an Ohio behavioral health center. His campaign maintained he was home with the flu, and security camera images from his Austin home now back that up. But GOP strategists and journalists are torching the campaign's response as "mind-numbing malpractice" for not releasing the footage sooner.
With Election Day just weeks away in one of the biggest Senate races in the country, the question has shifted from where Talarico was to why his team let the narrative spiral unchecked when they had the receipts the entire time.

I see everyone is talking about the time change again. Some people want permanent DST. Others prefer permanent standard time. Why don’t we try having DST part of the year and then standard for the rest?
Not gonna lie: I’m very surprised at the level of vituperation directed at @JATompkins over this column. I guess I’m just sorta naive.
Opinion: The leftist movement can spot a genocide from 7,000 miles away but can't see the tragedy on its own streets. We need to address disorder in our city. indystar.com/story/opinion/c…
In political science we teach that legislators will develop expertise in an area of interest to themselves and/or their constituents. Tuberville has chosen his lane.
Seeing all the discourse about anthropomorphism reminds me of the time I explained power factor to a group of electricians using a hypothetical wagon pulled by two mules.
Milk shake duck, but a horse.
On Monday, a horse named Austrian Painter won a race in Indiana.
By Wednesday, the horse had been renamed after the Internet figured out it was a reference to Adolf Hitler.

A city worker caught doing an epically bad curb-painting job in Laramie’s downtown district has locals saying they’re “embarrassed," and the city apologizing for botching the job. “The employee obviously doesn’t give a (crap),” said a local resident.

@BulwarkOnline did a supercut of all the prior times Trump said he was about to give Americans a $5000 check or whatever.
It is glorious
