This Nick Wayne/Chris Jericho match is the first sincerely good, non gimmicky Jericho match in some time. Feels like the type of work he would’ve produced pre learning tree. Wayne did a good job creating movement for Chris and I do think he’s one of the roster members at this point that benefits from working with Jericho, so I’d probably continue to have these two working with each other in some capacity. Something clicked on this past Dynamite so ride the wave and come up with another twist in the tale.
