"Israel doesn't have a right to exist."
That's Green Party campaigner Michael Wakelyn-Green on live TV.
Asked what happens to the 10 million people living there, he said they'd be fine, with "dignity and respect".
Wipe a country off the map and promise its people they'll be fine. 🙄
This is today's Green Party.

Hey @grok, explain this to me.
Why can Palestinian refugee status be inherited through the male line, but not through the female line?

We’ve been gaslit for three years that the people screaming ‘long live Hamas’ on the anniversary of a brutal massacre Hamas perpetrated are on the ‘right side of history’.
I never believed it for even a second.
NOW: "Long Live Hamas!" chants as protesters stormed and confronted the 'Israelis For Peace' vigil held at USQ, organizers say they hold the vigil regularly for the hostages and for Gaza.

🚨 IRELAND 🇮🇪
The latest dig at the Tuam Mother and Baby Home has found 10 remains, all of which were in coffins and NOT in a septic tank
Almost a year into the excavation, 109 remains have been found, with ZERO evidence of foul play with all in coffins, NONE in a septic tank
There. I've collected enough angry, yet ill-informed reactions to this post. Now I'm going to debunk every one. Get ready.
You have probably seen hundreds of aerial photos of Gaza looking like this.
And those photos are routinely presented as self-evident proof of genocide.
There is a problem with that argument:
A photograph of a destroyed building tells you that a building was destroyed. It does not tell you WHY.
So let's add back the part you almost never see in the rubble photos: what happened before the photo.

❗️ CHILDREN IN GAZA EXPLOITED: Footage shows a terrorist using a child to transfer weapons into a civilian home in central Gaza, using him as a human shield to transfer the weapons, in an attempt to prevent the IDF from striking & thwarting their transfer.
Upon identifying the presence of a child, the IDF refrained from carrying out any strikes against the terrorist.
Gavin is talking bollocks. If Ireland played Palestine, he’d don his gloves with no qualms. He wouldn’t withdraw from the squad. He wouldn’t release a statement about the killing of innocent people. He wouldn’t say his stance is “not in opposition of Palestinian people or Arabs”

"The great displacement of people told they were going to be able to come home, in a couple of days, never ever be able to go back"
Abdul El-Sayed is right that Palestinians were told they would be able to come home after the war launched by 7 Arab states on Israel immediately after the Jewish state was founded.
Why does he leave out who told them that?
The same Arab countries that set out to rid the Middle East of Jewish sovreignty confidently informed Palestinians that they would return to their homes after victory was secured.
The decendants of Palestinians who stayed or came back are Arab Israelis today. They make up 20% of Israel's population.
Many chose never to come back. Some truly couldn't. But the initial call to leave, and the war that created the chaos in which both Arab and Jewish communities were destroyed, was initiated by Arab countries.
I'm glad Abdul El-Sayed brought up this point. It truly illustrates how much you have to selectively revise history to reach his conclusions.

Truth shall out. Slowly and painfully, but eventually the smear campaign against Israel will be dismantled and the lies exposed.
INSANE!
The Committee to Protect Journalists (@pressfreedom) has now removed ANOTHER 22 names from its Gaza journalist death database, bringing the total removals to 42, including 28 people it identified as having participated in combat.
Researcher Leslie Kajomovitz (@kikas6652) previously identified alleged terrorist ties in 153 of 212 people on CPJ's list, including 64 she identified as combatants.
@HonestReporting separately identified alleged terrorist ties in 120 of 209 cases.
How many media organizations that parroted CPJ's figures will now issue corrections or investigate the accuracy of their previous reporting?
And even if they do, what happens to the countless hours of television coverage, newspaper articles and social media posts that have already circulated these figures to billions of people?
Those audiences aren't going to see a correction buried months or years later.
There are also very serious questions about CPJ's criteria that aren't even dealt with here. Its external audit assessed whether the organization followed its existing rules, which permit journalists working for Hamas-affiliated media to remain in its database unless they are established to have engaged in combat or otherwise meet its exclusion criteria.
Consider a Hamas journalist accompanying a Hamas terrorist who is actively planning or carrying out an attack against Israel. If Israel strikes the terrorist and both are killed, CPJ will still count the journalist as killed by Israel, even where the strike complied fully with international law.
CPJ keeps declaring that Israel has killed more journalists than anywhere else in the world. Well, when Gaza has become a place where terrorists routinely pose as journalists, and organizations like CPJ help legitimize those claims by putting them on their casualty lists, of course you end up with an absurdly inflated “journalist” death toll.
Massive credit to goes to Leslie Kajomovitz (@kikas6652) , @HonestReporting , @Aizenberg55, @EFischberger, @MiddleEastBuka, @JoeTruzman, @GabrielEpsteinX, and many others for their scrutiny and subsequent reporting of these records. The latest removals leave substantial questions about CPJ's verification process and how newsrooms have presented its findings.
I hope this is just the beginning.

🚨🇮🇪 Jamie O’Mahony, a student at @DCU, spoke publicly about his encounter with Zak Hania, the cousin of the eliminated Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh. Zak Hania admitted that Ismail Haniyeh was his cousin and that he is “proud”…
This is the same Zak Hania who is harassing the Irish national football team outside their hotel. Jamie also spoke about the response he got from DCU President @DaireKeogh 😡
Here are some of Ismail Haniyeh’s statements about October 7 and the Palestinian people:
• He celebrated the October 7 at the same event in Qatar, saying:
"We must build upon this victory that occurred on the seventh of October. We must hold on to it, build upon it, and accumulate it."
• On October 26, 2023, in the wake of the October 7 attacks and Israel's response, Haniyeh welcomed and celebrated the deaths of ordinary Palestinians in Gaza, saying:
"As I have said repeatedly, the blood of children, women, and the elderly should not make you cry out! Rather, we need this blood to awaken the revolution, to awaken stubbornness, to awaken and move forward."
• In an Al-Jazeera interview aired in January 2022, Haniyeh celebrated Hamas rocket attacks on Israeli cities:
In reference to the targeting of Israeli cities during the 2021 Gaza crisis (May 6 - 21, 2021) Haniyeh described mass rocket attacks on Tel Aviv as a “strategic victory" saying, "for 11 days, the rockets of the Qassam Brigades rained down on every inch of Israel, and especially its heart - Tel Aviv, the heart of trade, economic activity, business |...] Tel Aviv was targeted, in less than 5 minutes |...] with 130 rockets from inside the Gaza Strip."
• In reference to a peace deal offer by which Haniyeh explained, "Gaza [...] would become like Singapore [including] the construction of an airport, a seaport, and economic projects in Gaza" in return for which Hamas would recognize Israel's right to exist, "disband the military wings and incorporate them into the police force" Haniyeh said "naturally, we completely rejected that offer" preferring to hold on to Hamas' “political principles, resistance, [and] weapons."
When asked what these political principles were, he made it clear that the annihilation of Israel was
his core agenda: "We will not recognize Israel, Palestine must stretch from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean| Sea, the Right of Return [must be granted], the prisoners must be set free, and a fully sovereign Palestinian state must be established with Jerusalem as its capital."

From the GAZA MINISTRY OF HEALTH themselves...
The clearest overrepresentation in this graph is among males roughly 15-40, particularly men in their 20s and 30s.
Meanwhile, Gaza’s youngest age groups make up an enormous share of the population, yet their share of reported deaths is substantially smaller than their share of the population.
This shows several things...
The pathetic “Israel is killing babies” narrative pushed from the very start does not match the demographic pattern shown here.
The Gaza Ministry of Health does not distinguish between civilian and militant deaths. That matters when many of those killed are males in their mid-teens and 20s. Some militants under 18 are still counted publicly as “children killed.”
Yes, the death of a militant under 18 is tragic, but responsibility lies with the armed groups and social structures that recruit, indoctrinate, or encourage minors to take part in conflict.
The “Israel bad” narrative simply doesn't cut it anymore.

13-year-old Muhammad Al-Qattani was portrayed as an innocent child killed in an IDF strike. But he was another child soldier recruited by Islamic Jihad, probably at age 12. The militarization of Gaza’s children by Hamas and PIJ is never mentioned by those “NGOs” and “experts.”
