This account is about process over profits.
I trade MES, M2K & MNQ and share what I’m learning—
the good, the bad, and the lessons in between.
No hype. No shortcuts.
Just risk management, discipline, and consistency.
Not financial advice.
One of the biggest lessons I’m learning in day trading is that having a fixed daily dollar target was affecting me more than I realized.
I would force trades, revenge trade trying to recover a loss and reach my target, or cut winning trades short simply because I had already hit my goal.
Now, I’m learning to accept what the market offers, according to my own strategy. Whether the opportunity is big or small, I take what is there without forcing what isn’t.
The moment I stopped trying to control how much I make and started focusing on how I trade, the journey became much easier to navigate.
The goal isn’t to make a certain amount every day. It’s to become a trader who can consistently execute, regardless of the outcome.
All my life, I’ve struggled with control. Wanting to control outcomes, situations, and sometimes even things that were never mine to control. It has cost me relationships, trust, and peace.
I genuinely believe trading came into my life to teach me one of the hardest lessons: I can’t control what the market does. I can only control how I respond to it.
This journey has been far from easy. I’ve lost money, blown accounts, and faced parts of myself I didn’t even realize needed healing.
But somewhere between the losses, the frustration, and the determination to keep going, I began learning to let go.
To accept a loss without chasing it. To walk away without needing to make it back. To understand that discipline is not about controlling the outcome, but mastering myself in the process.
Maybe trading was never just about learning how to make money.
Maybe it was about learning how to let go of control and finally find peace in what I cannot change.
I’ve learned so many trading strategies from different traders and subscribed to different Discords. For a while, everything seemed to work… until it didn’t.
I’m realizing now that trading isn’t just about the strategy. It’s about the trader.
Two people can trade the exact same setup and have completely different outcomes because of their emotions, discipline, patience, and risk tolerance.
So no more searching for someone else’s perfect strategy.
I’m learning to read price action, understand the chart for myself, recognize the setups that make sense to me, and manage risk based on my own tolerance.
I’m not trying to trade like someone else anymore.
I’m building a trading style that fits me. 🧠📈
TRADING HACK 🧠
When placing a trade, think of your risk as a purchase.
Ask yourself: “Am I willing to pay X amount for this trade?”
If yes, take the trade.
If it loses, consider that money spent—not stolen.
You bought the opportunity to participate in the market.
The purchase is final. No returns. No refunds. No revenge.
Accept the cost before you enter

One of my biggest lessons after scaling my app to 95k+ downloads in 2 months is to build and launch as quickly as possible (obviously ensure the product is functional end-to-end).
This is because we often build in an echo chamber, which means you’re building based on what you think will work - but not everyone thinks like you.
My app has been greatly shaped by feedback from users as I scaled and talked with them everyday, so stop waiting for the perfect UI/UX and just launch, then iterate.

Truly wild, after I clocked off last night with 25k downloads - literally not even 12 hours later and already hit 30k downloads. 🚀
One thing I’m learning:
Not every setup is MY setup.
I used to take trades just because price was moving…
Now?
I wait for MY model.
No setup = no trade.
Simple.

I didn’t disappear… I was building.
Passed my combine 🙏
There were losses, hesitation, and days I wanted to quit.
But I stayed consistent.
Now the focus is simple:
→ First payout 💰
One A+ trade at a time.

March recap so far.
8 green days / 2 red days
+$1.66K
The difference between green and red days?
Revenge trading.
My losing day came from revenge trading.
My best days came from patience and waiting for clean setups.
Still learning every day. #ProcessOverPnL
After a big loss on the 11th, I had to set a lock on my @Topstep account to only 3 trades per day and a $400 loss day limit.
Yesterday was very choppy so 1 loss was all it took for me to not take any more trades and call it a day.
Today, was a bit better.
Looking forward to next week's price action and to passing the combine this moth!!!
Breakouts don’t confirm direction.
Acceptance does.
Anyone can trade a breakout.
Professionals wait to see if price holds above or below.
Most traders don’t lose because they can’t read charts.
They lose because they can’t follow rules.
Discipline is rarer than strategy.
Quick question for traders:
What’s harder for you right now?
• Finding entries
• Holding winners
• Cutting losers
• Staying disciplined
Curious what stage everyone’s in 👇
Trading will test your patience more than your intelligence.
The market doesn’t reward the smartest trader.
It rewards the most disciplined one.
Most beginners look for entries first.
Experienced traders look for context first.
Context = structure, levels, liquidity.
Entries come last.
Something I’m actively improving as a trader:
waiting for confirmation instead of anticipating moves.
Anticipation feels smart.
Confirmation is what protects capital.
Why I prefer trading micros (MES, MNQ, M2K):
Smaller size =
• Better risk control
• Longer survival curve
• More screen time experience
Micros don’t limit traders.
They train them.
