Naoki Yamamoto and Tadasuke Makino have overturned the odds with their third win of the season, taking Team Kunimitsu's first title since 2020 and giving Honda's new HRC Prelude-GT the championship in its debut season.

We are deeply saddened to learn that Alan Jones has passed away at the age of 80.
Jones won the 1980 F1 world drivers’ championship for Williams and won 12 grands prix across his career in the series.
The Australian also won the 1978 Can-Am championship.
Motor Sport sends its deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Alan.

🚨 Ford will return as a full factory manufacturer entrant in the World Rally Championship from 2028!
M-Sport will design, build and run a brand new Ford rally car based on a yet-to-be-released passenger vehicle for the 2029 WRC season. In 2027 and 2028 it will run Fiesta Rally2s upgraded to Rally1-spec via a homologated kit 🔧
From 2028, M-Sport's entry will transition to Ford Racing, the first time the Blue Oval has been an outright WRC factory team since 2012.

Unfortunately we went off the road in SS17 today. Julien and I have both gone to hospital for some checks and we will stay overnight as precaution after the heavy impact. But we both feel ok which is the most important.
This is of course not what we had hoped for this weekend, especially after it was going so well.
But the main thing is that we are in one piece, therefore a big thank you to the team for building such a strong car. Also I need to thank Julien for taking good care of me immediately after the impact and reassuring my family I am well.
We will take some rest now and make sure we are back to full strength soon, and thank you for all the messages we received.
Good luck to my team mates. Bring it home, guys!
