After 2 years of collaborative work, Garry's Mall 2, the sequel to the original 2013 map of the same name, has been released.
Instead of 12 stores, this new mall now features a total of 42 stores, each one created by a different mapper.

I reported literal piracy of BB+ on Roblox.
Can we collectively, as a society, sue Roblox into oblivion? And then, once they haven't a dime left and the service shuts down, can we split the IP rights across dozens of different entities so that it can never be brought back?

Just in time for ROBLOX's 20th anniversary I finally finished documenting something crazy I found months prior..
In late 2016, there was a whole VR menu planned just like the Xbox menu. However it was scrapped entirely by early 2017, and never saw the day of light.. til now!

Exploiters have figured out how to execute server-side Luau and modify Datastore - with Loadstring disabled?
This can cause irreparable damage and material loss to thousands of games.
The engineer responsible needs to be fired as they are a demonstrable security risk. A backdoor like this isn't something you "oops!" accidentally ship to production and it hasn't happened for several years.
As developers, we DEPEND on server-side code execution to be completely firewalled from underprivileged clients. The ability to modify Datastore is alarming to say the least. That level of access can bypass gamepasses & dev products, causing material loss. The fact this is happening absolutely confounds me.
