Istg, it’s like ppl forget romantasy is so much bigger than ship wars. The first signs of conflict b/w the characters & they throw in the towel. Ppl have lost the ability to appreciate character arcs which aren’t reduced to ships. Neither SJM nor BB will be losing money over this

I find this narrative so strange, I’m seeing a lot of it from the fandom. The book isn’t only to feed into ship wars. She’s entitled to be upset that people leaked the book. The cancellations are not a representation of the actual demand, there’s no proof of it, just theories.
