The page is available now and no longer showing an error if you want to review. It also details the exact escalation.
It covers:
• Scope of prohibited speech (insults, harassment, discrimination/hate speech, threats, doxing, sexual content, spam/boosting, etc.)
• How text and voice detection works (automated systems + player reports + manual review)
• The reporting and handling process
• Penalties
Here is the link and a screenshot of the penalties. marvelrivals.com/moderation/…
This is an excellent improvement but I worry that not accounting for alternate accounts will essentially make this meaningless. If they can get banned from playing they can make infinite alternate accounts. @NetEaseGames_EN @MarvelRivals please consider what I’m suggesting
Practical options that raise the cost of alts:
• Hardware / device ID bans so a new account on the same PC or console still gets restricted.
• Phone number verification required for chat or ranked (harder to rotate than an email).
• Platform account history (Steam, PSN, Xbox) that carries prior bans or a low trust score to new Marvel Rivals accounts.
• New-account friction: delayed or limited voice/text chat, restricted ranked access, or slower matchmaking until the account has some playtime or positive reports.
• Cross-account flagging: when a report or automated detection hits a pattern (same device, same payment method, similar play style), related accounts get reviewed or limited together.
None of these are perfect (shared devices, VPNs, new hardware), but each makes cycling accounts more annoying and less free than it is now. Most games that meaningfully reduce alt-driven toxicity use some combination of the first three.
A ban on one account doesn’t automatically stop someone from making another. The new speech moderation rules and harsher penalties raise the cost of getting caught on any single account, but they don’t raise the cost of making a fresh one. Without additional friction the same behavior can reappear under a different name.
Greetings, Rivals!
During our recent investigations into account violations, we discovered that certain Mods utilized by players involve memory injection and modification behaviors. Because these methods employ the exact same or similar technical maneuvers as cheat engines, they instantly trigger our Anti-Cheat detection mechanisms. Furthermore, some Mods alter the game's original visual, auditory, and combat presentation, severely jeopardizing the fairness of the game.
The characteristics of such violating Mods include, but are not limited to:
• Modifying Structural Models or Textures: Creating an asymmetrical line-of-sight between players and granting an unfair vision advantage.
• Eliminating Weapon Recoil & VFX: Removing screen shake, bullet trajectories, and impact visual effects. This drastically reduces standard operational interference during combat, making it uncharacteristically easy to aim and track targets, thus granting an unfair competitive advantage.
• Altering In-game Audio: Modifying footsteps and other sound effects, making it significantly easier to acquire or identify the location of enemy players.
• Enlarging Character Models: Modifying enemy character models to make opposing units far easier to spot, identify, and target.
Any of the modifications listed above can grant players an unfair competitive advantage, destroying the intended combat experience. We strictly prohibit any Mods or behaviors that disrupt game balance, and we will take decisive disciplinary action against them according to our rules.
To players who had their accounts suspended over the past two days due to the use of these specific Mod types: we have already lifted those suspensions. We want to be absolutely clear that lifting these suspensions does not mean we are permitting the use of these Mods or their modifications. Instead, it is our sincere hope that, now fully informed of the situation, the affected players will make the right choice to proactively stop using and permanently delete these Mods and their modifications, and return to standard gameplay. Moving forward, any continued use of these violating Mods will still be penalized according to our rules.
We urge all players: if you realize that a Mod you are currently using or planning to use exhibits any of the features listed above, please cease using it immediately. Shut down the related programs and delete the Mod files along with all modifications they have made to your game content. Please pay special attention and ensure that you delete violating .asi files such as pystubber.asi and MarvelRivalsUnmountBlocker.asi. These files execute operations that directly trigger the Anti-Cheat system's detection for unauthorized client modifications. Also, we encourage players to report these types of Mods to our operations team.
If your account has been banned due to the use of a Mod, but you believe there are special circumstances or that the penalty was applied in error, you may submit an appeal through our official Customer Support channels. Our team will process your case accordingly after verifying the specific details.
Our goal has always been to strike a balance between player customization and a fair competitive environment. As long as the fairness of the game is not compromised, we want to preserve the space for our players to freely choose how they play.
However, we will enforce strict management measures against any tools or Mods that have the potential to destroy game balance and create an unfair competitive advantage.
Maintaining a fair gaming environment across the Chronoverse is essential to protecting the experience of every single player. Thank you for your understanding, support, and cooperation as we work together to uphold a fair and healthy gaming environment.

Greetings, Rivals!
Every team match relies on the active participation of every single member. Being inactive, throwing, or leaving a match early not only disrupts the normal flow of the game, but also places an unfair, heavy burden on teammates who are still fighting hard to win.
To better guarantee a positive gameplay experience for everyone and to protect the rights of players who earnestly engage in their matches, we are adjusting the penalty rules for these violations.

I'm happy they fixed the hitscan bug but I kind of wish they found a middle ground where hands dont just block shots that are clearly headshots, how can I account for a hand in the middle of a fight
