MUGEN READY TO CUT PACIFIC LOOSE
Following recent negative comments about their engine, #Mugen boss Hirotoshi #Honda has made some sharp comments and has threatened to end the engine supply with immediate effect.
Frankly its a relief that #Mugen don't want to continue our partnership for 1997. They placed insane demands on us these past 3 years, constantly over-promised and under-delivered. We're in contact with new engine partners for 1997.

DINIZ QUIET ON PACIFIC CONTRACT RUMOUR
Former #Forti driver, Pedro #Diniz has refused to comment on speculation he has been offered a reserve role with #Pacific with a guarantee of at least 4 races later in the season. Diniz instead discussed #LeMans24.
"I've no comment to make right now about Pacific, they're a good team and o wish them well. Right now I'm just pleased with how LeMans24 went; it was great to reach the chequered flag and a privilege to race with Nelson #Piquet!"

JT EYE UKYO FOR BENETTON SEAT
Following the shock news #Mansell will retire after the #BritishGP, #JT CEO, Masaru #Mizuno has again speculated that Ukyo #Katayama could be in line for a #Benetton seat.
