A man killed his four-year-old Australian daughter in South Korea on Monday. He took the little girl out of Australia without her mum’s consent and despite legal attempts to stop him doing. He also ended his own life.
She the 26th Australian child killed this year. We lost 27 children to violence in 2025.
The girl's mum tried everything to stop him. He kidnapped the girl in October last year. Local police failed to conduct welfare checks and authorities disregarded Hague Convention child recovery orders.

A new famine is literally being created in Gaza. Free food distribution has almost completely stopped, major aid organizations have suspended their services, and now the World Food Programme, a key source of flour and canned food for hundreds of thousands of people here, has announced the suspension of its assistance.
For over a week, trucks carrying vegetables, fruit, and frozen food have also been prevented from entering Gaza.
Food supplies are shrinking, everything entering Gaza is being tightly controlled, and food queues are growing frighteningly long.
We are already witnessing the signs of another hunger catastrophe. Families are losing their food sources one by one. Please, don't wait until people are dying of hunger again before you act. The world must act now.

A NSW District Court judge accused of pro-Israel bias in a Nazi symbol case has refused to recuse himself.
A Sydney man is appealing to overturn a guilty verdict for displaying a swastika combined with the Israeli flag at an anti-genocide protest.
The judge compiled his own document and sought to admit it as evidence, which the defence said was a "departure from judicial process".

Corporate forces are bankrolling One Nation's surge, and the payoff could be $219m in public funding if current support levels remain.
The party sells itself as anti-establishment, but its backers are the establishment. Various powerful corporate sectors, including banking, hotels, mining and fossil fuels, all get a mention in the One Nation space.
