Thanks to everyone who came out last Friday for the 24th Annual FNBO Challenge! With your support, we were able to raise $42K to support Sycamore and DeKalb athletes. We would like to thank the Sycamore Sports Booster Club for all of their hard work on this event and our sponsors

I started theses “Reading Data Folders” last year. My students have loved tracking their own data. The tabs and envelopes are revamped with proficiency based language, and they are ready to go for this week’s sessions! 📚💗✏️

You bet! Love seeing @zcarlsen! #HailSycamore
I couldn’t imagine the physical, mental, and emotional stress that soldiers go through everyday, but it is people like my brother that make me appreciate them so much. I’m unbelievably proud of you and I will forever look up to your bravery and hard work. I love you @zcarlsen1 ❤️

Grading can be complicated and time-consuming, says T @LucyKirchh. So she's distilled her system to a "single-point" rubric – learn more about her approach (inspired by @cultofpedagogy) here: lucykirchh.com/post/single-p…
ALT Screenshot of a graphic titled "Single Point Rubric." There are three columns: "Glows: This is where your work really shines," "Criteria: Expectations and standards for this assignment," and "Grows: Ideas for improvement and growth." The second column includes spaces for specific criteria.
Our 5th grade leaders led our high school seniors in a whole school clap out yesterday. What a great experience for all involved! @SYC427 #empowering2succeed
