I’ve been keeping a close eye on Jacquet recently as I’m intrigued to see if he can play at RCB and LCB. A lot of that is down to body orientation, how he receives, first-touch & direction, what he does after receiving but also the movements before. All of these things tend to provide you info on whether he has any ‘angle-bias’. This pass from the weekend & everything he did before it unlocked a new level of appreciation for me. Early days of course, but we’ll speak soon. #LFC

🚨 Liverpool were chaotic to start Iraola's reign when their fullback pairing and midfield three lacked balance to the point where tactics could hardly be assessed.
Now that balance is a lot better as Jacquet has shown his quality, Araujo is less gung-ho than Frimpong at fullback, Munoz provides balance as a natural winger, and the midfield is more defensively-minded.
As a consequence of that, we can now begin to truly assess where Andoni Iraola will take this team.
