Every December a ghost walks through Prince’s discography. Fans call him The Christmas Prince. He’s the version of Prince who writes melodies that sound like candlelight on snow. Not festive. Not kitsch. Just pure emotional truth at winter temperature.

If Prince were still alive today? The night scrolls slow. You feel it before you see it — a static ripple, a purple flicker like a neon heartbeat. Then it hits: a 23-second clip from an account that shouldn’t exist, signed only with a single ⚡ symbol.

If Prince were still alive today? Forget timelines. Forget logic. Imagine a single chord so bright it wipes your algorithm clean. Imagine a livestream that starts before you click it. Imagine a man who can bend Wi-Fi signals by raising an eyebrow.

ATWIAD is where Prince did the bravest thing an artist can do: he turned left when the world demanded he stay straight. He traded stadiums 4 myth. He traded power 4 palette. He traded clarity 4 colour. If Purple Rain is the fire, ATWIAD is the smoke that rises afterward.

AROUND THE WORLD IN A DAY —The Purple Afterglow & The Psychedelic Doorway. To understand ATWIAD, you have to understand the climate Prince was living in: He had just executed one of the greatest 1-2-3 punches in pop history: 1999 → Purple Rain → Purple Rain Tour

PRINCE — BATMAN (1989) From heaven to Gotham. From halo to high-top fade. After Lovesexy’s revelation, Prince comes crashing back to earth — right into Tim Burton’s shadowy metropolis. This isn’t a soundtrack. It’s a possession.

If Prince were still alive today? You wouldn’t hear him — you’d feel him first. A shimmer in the room. A chord that seems to rise from the floorboards, glowing like incense smoke. Your phone unlocks by itself.

For this tour the first half was his nasty songs as Bob George, he was shot at the end and descended below the stage at the end of the first half. Then he rose up purified to finish out the show. It’s crazy to me that this was my first concert when I was 15

Whats Your Name

This was recorded in early '93. I wanted the keyboard sound somewhat similar to the Prince Dirty Mind/ Controversy era. Recorded on a Fostex 8 trk reel to reel. I wrote the song as I recorded it. Prob

Lovesexy was a masterpiece. Prince certainly didn't make it easy for himself or the listener (an observation, not a repoach). Imo his style and musical ingenuity reached his peak in this era. The amount of projects between 86 and 88 is mind boggling. Did he even sleep?

😂 That’s exactly what depresses me. We need a double album with the Black Album on one side and Lovesexy on the other — it would really highlight the duality he’s so known for.
