My fave @prince era
Never fully appreciated @K_ScottThomas profound beauty till now as I first saw it at 12. Film & Mountains outro (Critics be damned) is PERFECT. What a gift ❤️

Enjoyed @ParisJackson set at @Rocklahoma 2026
Pre-Show huddle with her band & humbly braved DIABOLICAL #Oklahoma #LaborDayWeekend heat & really shined

Screened @michaeljackson biopic (2026)
Glad it ends in 1988 before unjust bs
but still found it to be too “paint by numbers” @JaafarJackson is PERFECT casting as well as @colmandomingo as his dad but I’d love to have seen the actual conflict between the two

Was wondering who/hoping someone would acknowledge @prince at @WWE #SummerSlam in #Minneapolis
Cheers to @Jade_Cargill for making it happen 🔥
But I have to chuckle the entire match my 7 yr old kept referring to @Jade_Cargill as @McDonalds Grimace lol
What do we make of this tracklist?
It there a theme, surely there’s more right?

Great entries & insight from @prince superfan & historian @questlove
After all these years I’m still learning thanks to his & others dedication.
Can you do 10 more & include
Oliver’s House, All Day All Night & W4TP etc? 😉
Today marks the 10th anniversary of Prince’s death. To honor his musical legacy, we asked Questlove for a list of his 100 favorite Prince songs.
The result is a deeply informed and profoundly moving tribute to one of the greatest artists of all time.

We can only “build up” ONE?
They are BOTH deserving of every accolade they received.
Pitting them against each other is participating in the narrative that one was less deserving. Nope.
When I was a kid I was obsessed with everything and anything to do with @michaeljackson then in the late 90s I discovered @prince and realised that the world built up the wrong person and that @prince was more just of the accolades of what MJ got.
