25 years for him. 17 years for her. Serhiy Kozlov, 25, and Yevhenia Samoilova, 27 — a young couple from occupied Kerch, Crimea. Seized by the FSB in April 2024, they may have spent over a year in isolation before being put on trial behind closed doors. Their alleged crimes? Burning a car bearing the “Z” and “V” symbols of russia’s invasion and supposedly plotting further sabotage. The public evidence is scant. The sentence: 25 years in a maximum-security prison for Serhiy, including five years in prison — russia’s harshest penal institution. Yevhenia gets 17 years. russia occupies their homeland, then destroys their lives for allegedly resisting. Crimea is Ukraine. Don't let the Kremlin's political prisoners be forgotten. #FreeUkrainianPOWs

❗️I want to thank the Spanish people from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done and continue to do for Ukraine. Spain has been a reliable partner from the very first months of the full-scale war. You provided us with Leopard 2A4 tanks, HAWK air defence systems and Patriot missiles, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, artillery ammunition, armoured vehicles and other weapons. Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have been trained with your support. Alongside military aid, you have given substantial economic and humanitarian assistance, helped with reconstruction — including of energy infrastructure — and have sheltered more than 230,000 Ukrainians who fled the war. Thank you for the military, financial and human support. Thank you for the fact that Spain does not turn away and continues to stand by our side. Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦❤️🇪🇸

Many people will probably recognize this photo. Meet Vasyl Vasiuta, a 53-year-old man from Ukraine’s Lviv region. He has nine children. Three of his sons went to war. One of them was killed. Poland is just 10 kilometers from his home. The front line is 1,300 kilometers away. Yet ten years ago, Vasyl volunteered to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces. All three of his sons eventually fought alongside him. In February 2022, his 20-year-old son Dmytro was killed near Mykolaiv. It took nearly a month to find his body. He was finally identified by his tattoo. Of the three brothers who went to war, Dmytro was killed, Ivan was discharged from the military after being wounded, and Marian is still fighting in the Donbas. When Marian learned that his brother had been killed, he immediately called his father. Vasyl had just one word in response: “Understood.” After losing his son, Vasyl was wounded himself. His arm hadn't healed, he had lost feeling in three fingers, and his knee still hurt. Yet he kept pushing to return to the front. “That’s what real courage looks like to me. When Dmytro was killed, my father didn't give up. A week later, he was wounded himself, but he kept fighting,” his son says. For years, Vasyl sent his sons the same message while they were at the front: “Son, how are you? Just send me a plus sign on Viber.” When asked what it's like to have three sons at war, he gives a simple answer: “Hard. Very hard.” His injuries and declining health eventually forced him to leave the front. He returned home and now works as a forester. But his thoughts are still there. Every day, he walks 20 kilometers through the forest, perhaps trying to quiet the pain he carries inside. In his home village of Cherneve, 90 of the 800 residents serve in the military. Five have been killed. One is missing. And Vasyl keeps walking through the forest, thinking of his sons. Living with a loss that can never be undone and a pain that never truly goes away.

The Wall Street Journal.

🇺🇦 She lived almost nine months under Russian occupation in Kherson. When the city was liberated, 22-year-old “Barni” made a choice: she would not just watch the war from the sidelines. In February 2023, she volunteered for Ukraine’s Armed Forces🇺🇦 She wanted to fight. This brave woman became a Ukrainian Marine, then an FPV drone operator and crew commander with the 38th Separate Marine Brigade. She fought on the frontline, including around Myrnohrad. Later In 2026, this determined servicewoman received the Order “For Courage,” 3rd Class. Absolutely respect to you, stay strong as you are🫡❤️🇺🇦

W miejscowości Mika sprawcy umieścili ładunek C4 pod torem i zdetonowali go podczas przejazdu pociągu towarowego. ➡️2024 — rosyjska operacja z przesyłkami zapalającymi: siatka przygotowywała paczki z urządzeniami samozapłonowymi przeznaczone do Polski i Wielkiej Brytanii; z Warszawy miały też zostać wysłane przesyłki testowe do USA i Kanady. W styczniu 2026 r. Prokuratura Krajowa skierowała akt oskarżenia przeciw pięciu osobom oskarżonym o działanie na rzecz wywiadu Federacji Rosyjskiej i dokonywanie lub przygotowywanie sabotażu infrastruktury logistycznej i lotniczej. Mechanizmy samozapłonu ukrywano w przesyłkach kurierskich, żeby powodować pożary podczas transportu i w hubach przeładunkowych. ➡️ Masowe wtargnięcie rosyjskich dronów do Polski — 9/10 września 2025 r. Podczas rosyjskiego ataku na Ukrainę polską przestrzeń powietrzną naruszyło 19 rosyjskich dronów. Polskie i sojusznicze systemy śledziły obiekty, a część stanowiącą zagrożenie zestrzelono. Polska skierowała sprawę na forum Rady Bezpieczeństwa ONZ, a ministrowie spraw zagranicznych Polski, Litwy i Ukrainy nazwali wtargnięcie celowym i skoordynowanym atakiem. ➡️Planowane podpalenia we Wrocławiu. Część stanowiły balony wykorzystywane do przemytu. ➡️11 lutego 2025 r. rosyjski Su-24 wleciał około 6,5 km w polską przestrzeń nad Zatoką Gdańską i pozostawał w niej przez 1 minutę i 12 sekund; strona rosyjska tłumaczyła zdarzenie awarią systemu nawigacyjnego.

Russia is hitting Europe with a wave of increasingly kinetic hybrid attacks. With this, Putin wants to scare us away from supporting Ukraine. He will not succeed. To the contrary, we will increase our support and invest in our own defence. We are also planning the most far-reaching sanctions against Russia yet. This is the best way to stop Putin. Trump will always find a way to blame Ukraine 🇺🇦 for his own failures, while continuing to appease Putin’s Russia. What’s most worrying is just how normal this has all become.
Trump on Iran War/Depleted Munitions: You know where the money went was Ukraine. We used very little in Iran.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Reports and defense analyses show the Iran war expended thousands of critical munitions like Patriots and Tomahawks, far exceeding Ukraine transfers of those types. Ukraine aid was largely ground munitions; Congress funded replenishments. factcheck.org/2026/03/trump-… nationalreview.com/corner/dont-bl…

Dank an @BohuslavskaKate

Russia attacked civilians in Kyiv and the surrounding region with missiles. 17 people were killed. Half of them died at the train station. They were just random people riding a train. The Russians showed no mercy and killed them with missiles. This has nothing in common with the fighting on the front lines. This is terrorism against civilians.
