🚨 POLICE APPEAL AFTER SECOND CAT FOUND WITH LEGS SUPERGLUED TOGETHER IN SOUTH NORFOLK
Police Appeal: South Norfolk NR5: cat found with legs superglued together; similar attack on a second cat.
South Norfolk Police are appealing for witnesses after two incidents of animal cruelty in New Costessey.
The incidents were reported on Wednesday 6 May but are believed to have happened on Friday 24 April and Friday 1 May in Middleton Crescent, New Costessey.
In the first incident a cat has sustained some skin burns after returning home with superglue on his/her back and in the second incident a cat had his/her legs superglued together.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information.
Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch quoting reference CAD 171 of 6 May.

This sweet baby boy was just surrendered to the full high k*ll shelter in Greenville, TX without a name because his “family” is moving to an apartment that doesn’t allow big dogs. He is calm, mellow, and sweet! They were working on potty training him, but he’s a baby, so he still has accidents sometimes. He’s kid friendly!
Now he’s confined to a kennel on a cold concrete floor.
No toys allowed.
No playing.
Nothing.
Just loud barking all around him…
He will spends 24/7 in that kennel, only possibly getting out when it’s cleaned.
He’s just a baby who deserves to feel safe and loved… instead, he’s stuck in a scary, loud shelter.
If he gets sick, there is no treatment or vet to help. He’ll be unalived without warning. With the shelter constantly full, time isn’t his friend.
Don’t let his life end before it truly begins.
Please give him the home he deserves… one where he’s safe, loved, allowed in the house, not treated like a yard ornament, & never left behind again.

They say calls weren’t documented, protocols weren’t followed, and a rescue recommendation was overturned.

🚨 Breaking: Court documents reveal animal control officer used pistol with silencer to euthanize dogs 🐾
Silsbee, Texas — We’re learning more about Joshua Nolen, the former Silsbee animal control officer arrested Friday and charged with improper methods of euthanasia. The arrest follows a viral video recorded by local resident Michelle Corbitt Ladner. Court documents allege Nolen used his personal .22-caliber pistol equipped with a silencer to euthanize multiple dogs, violating state guidelines on humane euthanasia.
According to a sworn affidavit, Ladner went to the Silsbee Animal Shelter (142 Woodward Lane) on February 27 to surrender two stray dogs she found in Evadale. While waiting for Nolen, she discovered numerous canine remains about 200 feet from the shelter, scattered through a wooded area and floating in a drainage ditch. Investigators say the dogs were in various stages of decomposition. Authorities now allege Nolen used his personal firearm to euthanize dogs that were under the shelter’s care.
