Just had the privilege of hearing Michael Rosen speak about his experience of Covid @TheQNI online conference. Inspirational and has reminded me of the power of nursing (& all healthcare) to support & care at the bleakest times.

It was hot but it went well. Lots of smiling faces, the culmination of months of work- phew. And we get to do it all again tomorrow and Thursday 🙂

I was recently asked about my commute to work. Took me by surprise really as I don't see it as a commute. I enjoy the journey mainly because I have views like this on my route. Shows the difference of perspective. Commute to me sounds like a chore. This journey is no chore.

Team day today and I learned to weave willow and lavender. I also learnt that Richard (shops) is a fountain of knowledge, Elizabeth (trusts & grants) can talk to anyone, Jo (volunteer manager) really can't do crafts! We are so much more when we come together. #teamprimrose

For those who need it today. A little slice of the Cotswolds. Snowshill lavender. Not at its peak but still beautiful and smelling lovely.

Coaching session yesterday looking at work/life balance. Average life expectancy of a woman =83. You have 29 years left....what do you want to do with it to bring joy into your life! Quite a big question....

Caldicott guardian training today... lunch time message....if you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it enough. Oh dear! More work required.

So today I have mainly been talking to a duck, banana, fried egg and queen bee! Only in a hospice!
It’s day two of 💛Yellow Week💛 Staff and volunteers at the hospice are dressing up as all kinds of yellow-themed things. We have birds and butterflies, Sandra Dee, Pikachu and The Mask among others! Don’t they look fab 🌟 #WorcestershireHour
