The @PrimitiveFi team (@0xjepsen) has been working in their free time to simulate the dispute game with Arbiter. This will also be extremely impactful in terms of the level of assurance we have in the system in a post fault proofs world. github.com/primitivefinance/…

We've just released a very insightful seminar on the slew of improvements released by @Autoparallel and @0xjepsen on Arbiter! Stateful contract simulation has never looked so good. Get the inside scoop on one of the hottest frameworks below 👇

Today @0xjepsen and I presented to @SpearbitDAO about Arbiter. During the presentation, we demoed a simulation that tests a volatility targeting strategy. What we found yesterday is that with certain conditions, running this in parallel led to panics or missing data.

Happened with arbiter @Autoparallel @0xjepsen, excellent job guys you delivered 💯 Was very skeptical until I got to use it to audit smart contracts

There are two impressive signs here: that Replit's programmers were able to ship something the CEO was skeptical about, and that the CEO adjusted his own opinion after seeing it.

The pleasure is all ours!🫡 Great to work with the @PrimitiveFi team and kudos to our amazing security researchers on this review: LSRs - @Kurt_M_Barry - @cmichelio SR - @m4rio_eth JSR - @Sabnock66 You’ll notice this is a very common theme with our clients 😉
Spearbit found some things no other auditors ever found! Was a pleasure working with them.

1/ Congrats to the @PrimitiveFi team on this! Just published a draft of some AMM research, with the intention of getting feedback & redoing improved simulations on Arbitrer. medium.com/@bfunk1/research-…

Thinking of how we could potentially contribute to Arbiter…. Any interest in extending your current price sims for multivariate geometric Brownian motion?

I'd say verifiable app logic security. Formal verification (e.g. Certora, KEVM, SMTChecker) is part of it, but then you have fuzzing (foundry, echidna, ...), crypto-economic soundness, and simulations (e.g. modeling with @gauntletnetwork (closed-source) / @PrimitiveFi's Arbiter - github.com/primitivefinance/…), robust unit testing (foundry), better static analysis auditing tools (slither, pyrometer - TBA soon, ...). Hopefully, something that'd make this entire process straightforward for most devs to be able to give high security assurances about the code they write is secure without having a huge barrier to entry for production code (spending hundreds of thousands on audits or senior devs that know this stuff - very scarce resources to come by).

The answer is the constant-inverse-phi-sum formula: desmos.com/calculator/ww4d15… This AMM was studied by @angeris @alexhevans @tarunchitra since it replicates the Black-Scholes valuation of a covered call: arxiv.org/abs/2103.14769 @PrimitiveFi built it: primitive.xyz/papers/yellow.…
Fun puzzle: what’s the AMM whose liquidity fingerprint on v3 is a normal curve? I’d wondered about this for years, and learned today that someone not only solved it but actually built it! Will post answer Sunday. (Background on liquidity fingerprints: paradigm.xyz/2021/06/uniswap…)
