Very early of course, but the #Jets currently have two of PFF’s top-10 highest-graded CBs in run defense:
• Jarvis Brownlee: 86.4 (4th)
• Azareye’h Thomas: 79.5 (10th)
Thomas in particular flashed in Week 2, allowing 2 catches for 14 yards on 4 targets.
That DPI penalty stained what was an otherwise excellent day for the second-year CB.

Plenty of superstars dodged New York because of the pressure. Brunson and his boys showed what happens when you don't.
Win in NYC and the whole city is yours. Everywhere else, you just get a banner.

On Karl-Anthony Towns and Knicks, there’s been plenty of conversation between Knicks and Towns’ side. League source familiar with the matter said talks have been positive and NYK has made it known that it wants Towns to be a Knick for a long time, thinks highly of him. One data point: Knicks have talked to Towns’ side about deals that start in $45M-$50M range, per SNY sources.

#Giants QB Jaxson Dart will undergo surgery to repair his meniscus and also has damage to his PCL and MCL. His ACL is believed to be intact.
There was consideration given to trimming the meniscus to potentially get him back this season, but that was viewed as short-term thinking and not worth the risk, especially with the other ligament damage in his knee.
A meniscus repair involves stitching it back together and is typically the best option for long-term health. That’s the route Dart will take.

Breaking: The #Giants and QB Jameis Winston have agreed to a 2-year, $13M extension, per sources.
Winston has become invaluable to the Giants’ QB room as a leader, a key part of Jaxson Dart’s development, and someone the organization views as the best backup QB in football. The deal was done by @WinSportsGroup.

Square Enix wants Final Fantasy 7 to continue beyond the current remake trilogy.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake director said the project is more than just remaking the original game. He described it as “an effort to pass Final Fantasy 7 onto the next generation.”
“We want to make this a work that creates new fans 20 or even 30 years from now.”
Square Enix also wants to “expand FF7’s future” and move beyond being “a classic of the past” to become “an IP with an ever-evolving future.”
