Sub 6’ flamethrower headed to @GreenWaveBSB in Live ABs last week.
Fastball playing around 93 during this phase and a lot of things have to go right to hit those numbers at Preston’s size.
Elite RATE of force production (not just FP)
Elite lead leg stability (not just strength)

If you’re bat speed is stuck, take a look at the sequencing first.

Clean moves early = clean moves out in front
The better your bat moves through the zone early is the better it will move out in front

Excited to make The @SoftbalAmerica first edition of The Class of 2029 top 50 rankings as the #5 catcher and #23 overall!
Congrats to my @Jazz16u teammates @AnsleyJohn25 & @Haley_Schmitt29 for making it as well! Love working behind the plate for yall!

Kids trains DAILY at Prime P North, and always comes in laser focused.
Super impressive 14u work ethic, and one of the smoothest lefty moves in the entire class.

Ideal Launch Angles To All Fields ⬇️
Oppo - <15° (Low ball flight)
Center - 15°-25° (Medium ball flight)
Pull - >25° (High ball flight)
Should be a direct result of how our bat is moving through the zone.
Promotes high BABIP the other way and high SLG pull.

Another quality outing for the #uncommitted ‘28⚡️
T92🔥Fast arm
Got his average FB spin up into the 2200s in pens last week w @FairchildPitch (something he’s working on)
Impressed with how athletic the kid is to immediately take the adjustment into the game.

Slow-Mo Barrels 🧨🧨🧨
‘29 CF @Hudsonsage4 Wow Factor Toronto Blue Jays Scout 16U
The trio of plus MLB bat speed in game, 5/7 raw power, and 6.57 run (65/80, 4.15 H2F) points to a freakish Future OFP. Stick of dynamite who craves the violent contact of facing high velocity arms, a rare hitting trait (fearlessness @ impact). 2026 Fall is his 1st season ever without 🏈, foreshadowing immense ceiling on the diamond. Raw in CF as he grew up a SS, but easy plus or better range when proper read is made. Arm is already MLB avg (T88 on bump). Will be a premier draft prospect in 2029.
Yup!
Skys the limit for one of the best young athletes in the entire country. Fully dialed in, getter better and better ⚡️
