Super. Allows for Parl to play its role in implementing the 2025-29 anti-corruption action plan.
The action plan sets out many/significant steps for Parl eg MPs code of conduct, CIABOC budget etc
Multi-party participation strengthens Parl buy in, input and, ideally, consensus.

Likewise political party affiliations of suspects need to be handled with care.
Unclear why anyone’s party affiliation is relevant (allegedly) to shoot an animal.
Sri Lankan state media have reported that a suspect arrested in connection with the shooting of iconic wild tusker Kavantissa is affiliated with the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).
According to the state-owned Dinamina newspaper, the suspect is a member of an SLPP-affiliated cooperative development body. The Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, the country’s state television broadcaster, has also reported the suspect’s alleged political affiliation.
The reports come as investigations continue into the shooting of Kavantissa, whose death on October 16 sparked widespread public concern.
Two suspects arrested in connection with the shooting were remanded until October 28 after being produced before the Mahawa Magistrate’s Court on Monday (19).
Mahawa Magistrate Anuradha Seneviratne ordered wildlife officials to submit a detailed report at the next hearing, including specific evidence linking the suspects to the shooting, the date of the alleged offence and any available scientific or eyewitness evidence.
During the proceedings, wildlife officials informed the court that one suspect possessed a licensed firearm and was suspected of using it to shoot Kavantissa.
However, lawyers representing the suspects rejected the allegations, arguing that no scientific evidence had been presented to establish their clients’ involvement.
The magistrate questioned wildlife officials about the evidence supporting the shooting allegations and stressed that suspects could not be kept in remand indefinitely without sufficient supporting material. (Newswire)

Leader of DUP at the UK Parliament until 2024 when he resigned following his arrest, and a stalwart of Northern Ireland politics over decades, is convicted of child sexual abuse and sentenced to 15 yrs in prison.
Jeffrey Donaldson, formerly the Leader of the Democratic Unionist Party and one of Northern Ireland's most powerful politicians, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison and placed on the sex offenders register.
In June, he was convicted of 18 counts of child sex abuse, including rape.
In a statement, the DUP said he "deserves every day of the lengthy prison sentence" and that its thoughts were with the victims.

Read how the legal team of Anojan Sivarasa got his death sentence in Saudi Arabia set aside. To begin with, his lawyers argued successfully—among other legal points—that his original confession to insulting the Prophet Muhammad was “ambiguous”.
The confession, recorded in the 2nd Circuit of the Al-Ahsa Criminal Court, read in Arabic that Mr Sivarasa admitted to “insulting our Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)” (peace be upon him). His lawyers argued that Mr Sivarasa would not say these words, as he was a Hindu and that the confession was therefore not his but that of his translator.
The rest of the arguments are equally brilliant. #SriLanka #SaudiArabia #capitalpunishment
