I feel like women are the only ones who manage to bring men into every conversation. If you genuinely want to be alone, why keep mentioning the word men at all? The constant need to talk about women and men only proves that, no matter where you start your thoughts somehow always end with men.

I understand her feeling like that. Aging is weaponized against women in Western society in a very cruel way. But I also can’t help but see the irony in Marc’s support and reassurance for Melissa in this clip, versus the one from some weeks ago where they’re talking about how Marc does not fit into her type, and the younger, Olympic gold medalist boxer Anthony Joshua does.

This lie that East Asians don’t have body odour needs to stop. I’ve been to China and Korean and this is NOT true.

I've seen this many times. A foreigner or in this case a black person goes to China or East Asia, and they are greeted with covered noses and mouths.
They think to themselves, I smell good, I applied perfume before leaving, why are they doing this? This must be racism.
Chinese and East Asians do not have body odor, ~95% of us carry a variant in the ABCC11 gene causing us to produce no smell after sweating.
You can't even find deodorants supermarkets in China, people just don't need it. So our sense of smell is not used to strong perfumes, and when you enter a confined space with your perfume, people literally find the smell stinging our noses.

Just got home, so here's my take.
Xiaomi didn't copy Apple with the 18 Fold.
- The wide "passport" foldable isn't Apple's idea. Oppo did it with the Find N in 2021. Google did it with the Pixel Fold in 2023. Apple picked a shape the industry had already tested.
- Xiaomi launched Sept 7. Apple announced the Duo Sept 9 and it doesn't ship until Oct 23. You don't engineer a hinge, a custom folding panel and a production line off leaked renders in a few months.
- What's inside is all Xiaomi. Its own Xring 03 chip, and triple-window multitasking with floating apps, while the Duo caps you at two apps side by side. A clone doesn't ship with its own silicon and a different idea of how a foldable should work.
Samsung has been making foldables since 2019.
Apple is 7 years late to this category.
