I found this to be a really good Q&A type video by @henryajcooper of @PrettyBadTweets He addresses a lot of the questions I had about this game, particularly around grinding, constant loot and spongey enemies which put me off Odyssey quite a bit. So far, Valhalla looks promising!
Even after 30-40 hours I'm still not finished! Full review still to come but here are some of my impressions as I answer some of your questions!

I'm not a fan of pre-ordering, but I know a lot of people are doing so for Cyberpunk.
If you are, can I suggest buying it on @GOGcom? It's the store front owned by CDPR so they get 100% of the revenue. Vote with your wallet for the quality and pro-consumer focus they champion.

Borderlands 3 announced officially as an Epic Games Store exclusive, and as some predicted, review bombs have begun for Borderlands 1 & 2 on Steam.
This is likely the first real test of what Steam's new "off-topic review bomb exclusion" system will look like in practice.

Every day, tell someone who brings joy to your life that you love their work. To close out the year, hit up every creator you dug in 2018. When you see HATE on the Internet and want to RAGE back, mute the jerk and send LOVE to the person/dev/etc they were attacking.

Looking like #rage2 will be exclusive to the Bethesda launcher. More important than ever to not pre-order this one, since (unlike Steam) you cannot request a refund from games purchased through Bethesda launcher. Be sure to wait for reviews, lest we see a repeat of #Fallout76
