Misinterpreting data is not oversight. You are wrong on the facts. Again.

What you actually have is evidence that investigators obtained donor and merchandise-purchase records through subpoenas in a criminal investigation into Trump's efforts to overturn an election. You have zero evidence that 639,000 Americans were criminally targeted for buying MAGA hats, or that Smith maintained an “enemies list.” You're confusing people appearing in subpoenaed records with people being investigated for crimes. That's not oversight. That's manufacturing persecution out of evidence you either disingenuous and don't understand or are deliberately misrepresenting. But we all know the truth: you are an unprincipled coward who will be remembered in history as a member of Congress who enabled the rise of 21st-century authoritarianism. THAT will be your legacy.

Yes, this speaks to the fact the college education should be a public good not a money making scheme for the government.
A College graduate pays about $7,100 more per year in federal income taxes than does average high school graduate. Over 25-years, that's $175,000. Perhaps the taxpayer has gotten a return on their "investment" w/o the usurious capitalized interest. @POTUS @RepSaraJacobs @nytimes

The @GOP will be annihilated if they don't do this before the mid-terms. Tick Tock. @JoshHawley @ChuckGrassley @Jim_Jordan

🚨🚨🚨 To: @realDonaldTrump CC: @JDVance , @LindaMcMahon, @EDUnderSecKent Mr. President, You need to return bankruptcy protections to federal student loans before the mid-terms. This is urgent: -Scrap the "New Bankruptcy Process" initiated by your predecessor. -Instruct your Departments of Education/Justice to stop opposing student loan borrowers in bankruptcy proceedings. - Tell your Congress to repeal 11 USC 523(a) 8 -Call for a 0.1% endowment tax on the wealthiest colleges (with endowments exceeding $1 Billion) to cover the $6 Billion annual cost of this. The federal student loan program is in catastrophic failure, Mr. President. 37 million citizens- 85% of all borrowers- are hopelessly underwater on their loans. 70% are either republican or independent. This includes around 14% of the adult, GOP voting base. While none of these people want to file bankruptcy (and few ultimately will), all of them feel the predatory weight of this unconstitutional lending program on their shoulders. They vote. You know well the importance of uniform bankruptcy rights, Mr. President. It is an essential pillar of our country. The Founders called for uniform bankruptcy laws at the front of the Constitution for a very good reason. This is it. This predatory, hyper-inflationary, nationall threatening loan regime is precisely what the Founders want to avoid. You need an October Surprise Mr. President. This is it. There is no other action you can take in line with your principles that will bring more votes your way. 70% of Massie's constituents are strongly for this. So is Ron DeSantis, and more prominent conservatives than I can mention here. If you fail to act, the GOP will, frankly, be annihilated. Please do the right thing. This is your legacy. Good Luck and Godspeed- @mtaibbi @TuckerCarlson @FoxEbenBrown

We’re officially a month away from the midterms. Now’s the time for Trump to get out around the country & campaign for Republicans in close races. I suggest he go to TX, OH, MI, GA, NC, SC, ME, IA, AK, KS, MS, & MN. I’m sure this will give voters the boost they need to make the right decision when they cast their ballots.

Obamacare has been a disaster; we gotta give you choices, treat it like a cell phone. There's plenty of competition". Keyword: "CHOICE." They have been saying they have a plan for years but have never produced one! They're using the same old line, hoping we'll bite. Will you?

Trump cutting schools off if their graduates don't do well is COMPLETE FAKERY. Like the Gainful Employment Rule. No schools were sanctioned. Practically no schools- will be sanctioned through this. The Dept of Ed protects the colleges. This is election year nonsense for show.

🚨Breaking News: Defaults grew by a quarter million people last quarter. These data were released yesterday by the Department of Education. The true number of defaulters is closer to 12.5 million, or around a third of all borrowers out of school. Around 1 in 5 people "rehabilitate" or consolidate their loans out of default. Maybe more today since the industry is pushing people so hard to do this (It's incredibly unwise, btw, since these loans wind up in default again 80% of the time). 75% of all borrowers are not paying. This may be a bit higher because the research showing that half of all borrowers in IDR's are making "$0 payments" may have increased since the research was conducted. 👉👉Important Note: It now appears strongly that the Department of Education is not reporting the true size of their portfolio. Over the past year, the portfolio should have grown by approximately $125 Billion with accrued interest, new loans, and assuming $30 Billion/year being repaid, and also taking into account deferments), but the Department of Education says it only grew by only $34 Billion. This is a massive disparity that cannot be rationally explained. Congress needs to ask the Department of Education to explain this huge disparity. It has been ongoing for many years. This is $91 Billion in missing money in just one year. I will have more to say about this third point shortly.

The original #StudentLoans program was social policy. Congressional changes turned it into a financial trap. Lenders exploited every loophole. Borrowers became the only group in America denied normal consumer protections. That’s not opinion; it’s documented legislative history.

Dear @usedgov @GOP @TheDemocrats "You know, you look like your head fell in the cheese dip back in 1967." Reagan cut funding to Cal universities & argued that higher ed was a private benefit, not a public good & used tuition as a political tool to discipline protesting students.

This is PURE PROPAGANDA. IT'S WAY WORSE THAN THAT. 👉👉ACROSS ALL BORROWERS OUT OF SCHOOL-ALL SCHOOLS- 73% ARE NOT MAKING PAYMENTS. This is a complete LIE. Shame on @NPR for blatantly misreporting this story. Spread the TRUE FACTS ABOUT THE NONPAYMENT RATE HERE:
I rarely say this, but this is some pretty good work by NPR: “Five-hundred colleges and universities in the U.S. now share one alarming distinction: At least 40% of recent students who borrowed federal loans aren't paying them back.” “Were it not for federal student loans and grants, many of the schools on the list would close.”
