This week I have been in Malta, ticking off a bucket list item: see Popeye’s Village! 😆🇲🇹 Barely thought about my project whilst on holiday because we were that busy sightseeing 😎 And now this morning I’ve woken up at 6am scouring the internet in a refurb materials frenzy! 😆

Another delightful design flaw, check out this sink obstructing the access of this supposedly disabled access toilet! Even I had to squeeze in to use it! Remember folks: prior planning prevents piss poor property performance!

Spot the mistake… Little naughtiness I’ve seen in this property to start the day, you can’t do that!! 😱 Planning of electrics and water and gas and how they intermingle with each other can be detrimental to health and safety! 😬⚡️💦🔥⚠️☠️

Anybody could do property, in theory… but doing property well is another matter! There’s no point having a portfolio that doesn’t perform well and bleeds money. I have invested heavily in my property knowledge and education through superb UK training providers.

Today is the first birthday of my beloved dog Jerry Lee, since he died in May. Here he is with his favourite spiky balls, which still adorn my living room… turns out there’s no timeline for grief - although grief is definitely the price you pay for love. 😔🐕❤️

It’s not often I ever want to get my hands dirty on a project, but yesterday I had the urge, I was in the zone, I was on fire, baby! 🔥 So removed some carpet and wall units and smashed off some tiles, and amazingly only hurt myself a bit once! 😁 ROCK N ROLL, BABYYYY!! 🙌💥

Pros today so far - Yorkshire Water got supply going - got electric working Cons: - Toilet constantly filling - overflow pipe pissing out of exterior wall. - looked in loft, no gold, but a very crumbly brick chimney - almost got trapped in bedroom when door handle came off😖

Today’s property conundrums to sort out for my new house… 🏚️ - why can’t I get any water coming on through the pipes? 💧 - no gas supply to the property… is it worth getting a gas supply connected or keep it all electric? 🤔 - Somehow get some electric on! ⚡️

Whenever I go to a professional business event, I just don’t *look* like the others there. They’ll be in professional outfits, neutrals, pastels, bland, boring colours, like real mature adults…and then I’ll turn up in bright colourful clothes like this crazy nonsense getup 😆🦩

Yesterday in my new house showing my mate: “I wonder what the walls are like underneath the wallpaper?” 🤔 Then a piece came off in one long satisfying strip when we tried. Then ten minutes later… 😆

I visited a new property networking meeting last night, which I enjoyed, and met some really lovely ladies. ☺️ Also enjoyed the talk from Paul Lanfear. Would go again 😊

Today’s small win: “Uncle Peter, I’ve had stupid quotes for this wall, they reckon it all needs repointing, but are they just trying it on with me?” Uncle Peter agrees that the wall looks like it all needs doing. 😖 I you don’t trust contractor strangers, trust Uncle Peter!

This morning I sorted a repair issue out before I even got out of bed. 👌 Thanks to technology, and my lovely contractor, a bathroom sink leak eill be dealt with. I respect people who work hard, especially if they’ve got great manual skills. I’m just not one of them!! 😆

The best luxury about my property work is that I don’t have to work full time in a ‘normal job’. This creates time freedom to do whatever I want - which this week entailed taking Mummio on a little jolly jaunt to Flamborough, making memories. 😁🥰 Get out doing the same!
