The easy fix on Hegseth is to yank him now, stop the drip and appoint @joniernst , a vet and survivor who just lost a Senate leadership race and would be confirmed in a heartbeat
SHOCKING! (Sarcasm) @AllanLichtman lied again to try to cover up his old lies about 2016. Funny pattern starting where Lichtman keeps accusing these guys of everything under the sun so they keep going back to check the facts and find out he’s an even bigger liar than before.
He just had to keep digging. After our reporting that Allan Lichtman’s Oct. 2016 paper noted the Keys predict the popular vote, he said he completed the paper before his Sept. 2016 WaPo interview predicting Trump’s “win.” The timeline doesn’t support this.

2028 thoughts. Not my personal preference, just who I think might be situated to win against the GOP.

Trump's overperformances relative to this map area also interesting though. And also low-key good news for Democrats in reducing/inverting the Electoral College bias against them.
The only good news today is people will finally stop paying attention to Allan Lichtman.
50/50!
Update. The forecast remains extremely stable and extremely close to 50/50.
Trump made real gains in mid-October, but the forecast is ~unchanged from 10-12 days ago. We think people are getting a little carried away with narratives about momentum, etc.

I have been saying this for months. @ThePostrider one of the few who got it, good to see @TheAtlantic following suit. Stop taking Allan Lichtman at his word!
This piece by @GiladEdelman makes a pretty convincing case that you should take Allan Lichtman's prediction of a Harris win with a grain of salt. theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv…

Shame on you @AllanLichtman. I am ashamed to have ever followed your work.
When will someone acknowledge the nuclear deal with Iran was good and would have been a step in the right direction towards peace
