The 11th of April marked a milestone at @OpenSourceNest where we had our maiden open source flagship event titled “TAKEOFF”. As the lead convener, this meant I had to be at the center of management while juggling other affairs. All these would not have been possible without the help of many from my amazing co-founder @solu_victoria to the entire Open Source Nest community at large.

This is an appreciation post and I hope to do justice. First shout out of gratitude goes to @github and @GitHubEducation for their support towards TAKEOFF and advocacy for open source.
