Please differentiate between apocalyptic messaging coming from the same “AI” people who tell us that their machine god can also bring utopia if it’s them who control it, and resistance to actual bad things that don’t depend on magical thinking. The first is corporate marketing.

Jason Arday has been found dead.
The obsessive media focus on this one man - as if it was one of the biggest scandals in history - was disproportionate beyond belief.
Push notifications, top headlines, constant investigations.
And now he is dead.

The term “witch hunt” is overused in politics. Perhaps not this time. Quite a bit of the British media should ask themselves some serious questions as to whether the tenor and volume of the coverage they gave to this man was remotely proportionate. Likewise there are questions for Cambridge- and whether they discharged their duty of care.
JASON ARDAY has been found dead.
Arday was found “unresponsive” at an address in Battersea on Friday afternoon. He was later pronounced dead.
A spokesman for the Met said officers were called by the London Ambulance Service at 3.12 p.m.
“Sadly, a 41-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
At this time his death is being treated as unexpected, but is not believed to be suspicious. The case is being investigated by officers from the Met’s Central South Command Unit. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Can we have a “no-spoiler” option across social media?! The ability to not have sports results posted on your timeline (before we’ve had a chance to watch the game) or to not see an ending of a film (if you didn’t manage to see it the first weekend) would be much appreciated.
